RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM KEAMANAN SEPEDA MOTOR BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS
Abstrak (Abstracts)
The ineffectiveness of the motorcycle security system is one of the factors triggering the high crime rate of motorcycle theft. In addition, many new methods of motorcycle theft are worth watching out for. Therefore, the authors make a device entitled “Design of Internet-Based Motorcycle Safety System Things (IOT)” to help offer solutions to the problems mentioned above. This device works with several components such as Relay, GPS (Global Positioning System), vibration sensor and NodeMCU microcontroller which is installed in the vehicle seat. Relay functions as a regulator of electricity. GPS functions as a monitor of the current location of the vehicle. And the vibration sensor has the function of detecting a knock or vibration found on the vehicle. Another advantage contained in this device is that this device can be controlled through the Android application. So that the security features of the system, such as turning off the vehicle, monitoring the vehicle, as well as notification of a knock or vibration on a motorcycle can be easily accessed anytime and anywhere by the user. This device has been tested for its effectiveness based on the results of testing in the field. Tests are carried out by remote devices through the application, starting from the closest distance, which is 0 meters, to the farthest distance, which is 1 kilometer. The results obtained are that the device can still be connected properly even though it is separate, Relays can disconnect and connect the electrical system, GPS can detect the location of the vehicle and the vibration sensor can send notifications to user applications with Portable Wi-fi connected to the internet network. Kurang efektifnya sistem keamanan sepeda motor menjadi salah satu faktor pemicu tingginya angka kriminalitas pencurian sepeda motor. Selain itu, banyak metode-metode baru dalam pencurian sepeda motor yang patut untuk diwaspadai. “Rancang Bangun Sistem Keamanan Sepeda Motor Berbasis Internet Of Things (IOT)” menawarkan solusi dari diatas. Alat ini bekerja dengan beberapa komponen seperti Relay, GPS (Global Positioning System), sensor getar dan mikrokontroler NodeMCU yang dipasang didalam jok sepeda motor. Relay berfungsi sebagai pengatur kelistrikan. GPS berfungsi sebagai pemantau lokasi terkini dari kendaraan. Dan sensor getaran berfungsi mendeteksi adanya ketukan atau getaran yang terdapat pada kendaraan. Kelebihan lain yang terdapat didalam alat ini yakni alat ini dapat dikendalikan melalui aplikasi Android. Sehingga fitur keamanan yang dimiliki sistem, seperti mematikan kendaraan, pemantau kendaraan, serta notifikasi adanya ketukan atau getaran pada sepeda motor dapat dengan mudah diakses kapanpun dan dimanapun oleh pengguna. Alat ini telah teruji efektifitasnya berdasarkan hasil pengujian di lapangan. Pengujian yang dilakukan dengan me-remote alat melalui aplikasi, mulai dari jarak terdekat yakni 0 meter hingga jarak terjauh yakni 1 kilometer. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah perangkat masih dapat terhubung dengan baik walau terpisah, Relay dapat memutus serta menyambungkan sistem kelistrikan, GPS dapat mendeteksi lokasi kendaraan serta sensor getar dapat mengirim notifikasi ke aplikasi pengguna dengan Wi-fi Portable yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet.
