IMPLEMENTASI SMART ROOM DENGAN TEKNOLOGI IOT DI RUANG 301 GEDUNG TERPADU POLITEKNIK NEGERI BALIKPAPAN
Abstrak (Abstracts)
The use of electrical energy as the main resource for electronic equipment continues to increase along with the increasing population, so that the consumption of electricity resources is getting bigger. So the purpose of this tool was made to control electrical equipment such as lights and air conditioners so that they are used as needed when there are only people in the room or automatically when there are people in the room. In fact, this tool can also control turning on and off lights and air conditioners through the Telegram application with IOT technology. So that the room can save electricity usage every day. The design of this system includes hardware aspects and IOT connections to the Telegram application. From the hardware side, it uses an Arduino Wemos D1 microcontroller, PIR sensor, relay, solenoid doorlock, and an RFID module as access to the door to the room. With this room owner can control the lights and air conditioning via the Telegram application and can also turn on the lights and air conditioning automatically. Penggunaan energi listrik sebagai sumber daya utama untuk peralatan elektronik terus meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, sehinggan konsumsi sumber daya listrik semakin besar. Maka tujuan alat ini dibuat adalah untuk mengkontrol peralatan listrik seperti lampu dan air conditioner agar digunakan seperlunya ketika ada orang saja di ruangan atau otomatis ketika ruangan tersebut ada orang. Bahkan alat ini juga dapat mengkontrol menyalakan dan mematikan lampu, air conditioner melalui aplikasi Telegram dengan teknologi IOT. Sehingga ruangan tersebut dapat menghemat penggunaan listrik setiap hari. Perancangan sistem ini meliputi aspek hardware dan koneksi IOT ke aplikasi Telegram. Dari sisi hardware ini menggunakan mikrokontroler arduino Wemos D1, sensor PIR, relay, solenoid doorlock, modul RFID sebagai akses untuk masuk ke pintu ruangan tersebut. Dengan ini pemilik ruangan dapat mengkontrol lampu dan AC melalui aplikasi Telegram dan juga dapat menyalakan lampu dan AC secara otomatis.
