DESKRIPSI TUGAS AKHIR :
RANCANG BANGUN ANTENA MIKROSTRIP MIMO TRIANGULAR PATCH FREKUENSI 2300 MHZ UNTUK TEKNOLOGI 4G LTE(LONG TERM EVOLUTION)

LTE is a high-level wireless data access communication standard based on GSM / EDGE and UMTS / HSDPA networks. In LTE technology, there are many techniques that can improve the quality of performance, one of which is by using the MIMO microstrip antenna technique. This final project discusses the design of the MIMO 2×2, 4×4 and 8×8 triangular patch microstrip antenna for LTE 2.3 Ghz frequency. The triangular MIMO antenna is designed to have a side length of a = 30 mm, so the results of the design of the 2×2 MIMO microstrip antenna are 1.588 VSWR, return loss -18.478 dB, gain 4,695 dB. Simulation results of antenna 4×4 VSWR 1.4646, return loss -18,697 dB, gain 4,791 dB. The simulation results of antenna 8×8 VSWR 1.4094, return loss -26,747 dB, gain 4,9001 Db with omnidirectional radiation and 100 MHz bandwidth. Antenna testing was carried out using a speed test with 3 conditions, namely outdoors (outdoor), indoors (indoor), and based on the distance, so that the overall results show the MIMO 8×8 antenna, where the test is carried out outdoors (outdoor) in a stationary state (static) is superior to that in a moving state (dynamic). LTE merupakan standar komunikasi akses data nirkabel tingkat tinggi berbasis jaringan GSM/EDGE dan UMTS/HSDPA. Dalam teknologi LTE, terdapat banyak teknik yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas performasi salah satunya dengan menggunakan teknik antenna mikrostrip MIMO. Pada proyek akhir ini membahas perancangan antena mikrostrip MIMO 2×2 ,4×4 dan 8×8 triangular patch untuk frekuensi LTE 2.3 Ghz. Antena MIMO triangular yang dirancang memiliki panjang sisi a= 30 mm, sehingga hasil perancangan antenna mikrostrip MIMO 2×2 diperoleh nilai VSWR 1.588,return loss -18.478 dB,gain 4.695 dB.Hasil simulasi antenna 4×4 VSWR 1.4646,return loss -18.697 dB,gain 4.791 dB.Hasil simulasi antenna 8×8 VSWR 1.4094,return loss -26.747 dB,gain 4.9001 dB dengan polaradiasi omnidirectional dan bandwidth 100 MHz.Pengujian antenna dilakukan menggunakan speed test dengan 3 kondisi yaitu di luar ruangan (outdoor),dalam ruangan (indoor),dan berdasarkan jarak.Sehingga diperoleh hasil secara keseluruhan menunjukan antenna MIMO 8×8 ,dimana pengujian dilakukan di luar ruangan (outdoor) keadaan tidak bergerak (statis) lebih unggul dibandingkan dalam keadaan bergerak (dinamis).
