ANALISA PERBANDINGAN PERFORMANSI JARINGAN 4G LTE ANTARA OPERATOR X & Y DI KECAMATAN BALIKPAPAN SELATAN TAHUN 2017 DENGAN METODE DRIVE TEST

ABSTRACT Telecomunication technology is increasingly growing. This is evidenced by the presence of new technology that have quality of telecomunication network, especially in term of data speed. Mobile communication system technology is increasingly growing from first generation to next generation, that is 4G or LTE technology. LTE is development of previous technology namely UMTS (3G) and HSPA (3.5G). Research project analyzes the comparison of service quality of a network on operator x and operator y especially in East Balikpapan. The study was conducted by the drive test method. The parameters analyzed are RSRP for test plan of http page data (web browser) and video streaming (videoplay) data and voice parameters including Ec / Io, RSCP, Rx-Power, Tx-Power,BLER. From the results of this study obtained the results that the test plan http page (ordinary web browser) operator x has RSRP value of -84.65603938 dBm and operator y -94,58088202 dBm where operator x is superior. In the video play test plan (Streaming Video) operator x is superior because it has a larger RSRP value that is -87,50341504 dBm and operator y equal to -94,50203146 dBm. In Ec / Io parameters, RSCP, Rx-Power, Tx Power and BLER operator x are superior to y operators because they have a smaller average value. ABSTRAK . Teknologi telekomunikasi semakin lama semakin berkembang, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hadirnya teknologi baru yang mempunyai kualitas jaringan telekomunikasi khususnya dalam hal kecepatan data. Teknologi sistem komunikasi bergerak semakin hari semakin berkembang dari generasi pertama ke generasi berikutnya, yakni teknologi 4G atau LTE. LTE merupakan pengembangan dari teknologi sebelumnya yakni UMTS (3G) dan HSPA (3,5G).. Penelitian ini menganalisa tentang perbandingan kualitas layanan suatu jaringan 4G pada operator x dan operator y khususnya didaerah Balikpapan Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode drive test. Parameter yang dianalisa yaitu RSRP untuk test plan data http page (web browser) dan data saat streaming video (videoplay) dan parameter voice yang meliputi Ec/Io, RSCP, Rx-Power, Tx-Power. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa pada test plan http page ( web browser biasa) operator x memiliki nilai RSRP sebesar -91.24565126 dBm dan operator y -97.78762392 dBm dimana operator x lebih unggul. Pada test plan video play (Streaming Video) operator x lebih unggul karena memiliki nilai RSRP yang lebih besar yakni -87.35357077 dBm dan operator y sebesar -100.4923131 dBm. Pada parameter Ec/Io, RSCP, Rx-Power, dan Tx Power operator x lebih unggul dibandingkan operator y karena memiliki nilai rata-rata yang lebih kecil.Keyword : LTE, Drive test, RSRP, Ec/Io, RSCP, Rx-power, Tx-power
