Abstrak (Abstracts)

This aims of this study are to design, make and use tools for the release process of clutch compressor air conditioner. Generally this work is still done manually which raises the risk of damaging other components, namely, damaging the pully and Clutch of the compressor Air Conditioner, it takes quite a lot of energy because they have to lower the Air Conditioner Compressor and also in terms of safety is also less safe. This work taken 115 minutes. Based on the problem, the writer designed a tool to remove the Clutch Compressor Air Conditioner on the SCANIA R580 unit by using the direct research method which was conducted during the On Job Training at PT. United Tractors Tbk. Binungan site. This tool made begins with the design using autocad and testing are carried out in the workshop of PT. United Tractors Site Binungan. The test results from the design of support tools to help remove the Clutch Compressor Air Conditioner on the SCANIA R580 unit in terms of working time to be faster by 20 minutes, the risk of damaging other components is reduced, not much energy is wasted and the safety aspect also becomes safer Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, membuat dan menggunakan alat untuk proses pelepasan clutch compressor Air Conditioner. Umumnya perkerjaan ini masih dilakukan secara manual yang menimbulkan resiko merusak komponen lain yaitu, merusak pully dan Clutch dari compressor Air Conditioner, cukup menguras banyak tenaga karena harus menurunkan Compressor Air Conditioner dan juga dari segi safety juga kurang aman. perkerjaan ini membutuhkan waktu selama 115 menit. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada penulis merancang sebuah alat bantu untuk melepas Clutch Compressor Air Conditioner pada unit SCANIA R580 dengan menggunakan metode penelitian secara langsung yang dilakukan pada saat On Job Training di PT. United Tractors Tbk. site Binungan. Pembuatan alat ini diawali dengan perancangan menggunakan autocad dan pembuatan serta pengujiannya dilakukan di workshop PT. United Tractors site Binungan. Hasil pengujian dari rancang bangun support tool untuk membantu melepas Clutch Compressor Air Conditioner pada unit SCANIA R580 dari segi waktu pekerjaan menjadi lebih cepat 20 menit, resiko merusak komponen lain berkurang, tidak banyak tenaga terbuang dan segi safety juga menjadi lebih aman.
