Rancang Bangun Sepecial Tool Emergency Pump Evacuation Pada HD 785 – 7 Di PT. United Tractors, Tbk Site Bontang

Abstrak (Abstracts)

In the world of mining industry, innovation is always needed to help human work. With the demands of the times that man wants everything with a system that is more effective and assured of salvation. One of them is to lower the cost and risk level of injury to the unit evacuation process. The researcher identified a problem that occurred at the time of observation in the field and the problem was when evacuating the unit using the towing method that is assessed effectively. The method needs more than 2 man power, a lot of support, and a long process, therefore, it become a constraint when the evacuation process of the unit. Therefore, the researcher interested in conducting research in making the design of special tool emergency pump evacuation in HD 785 – 7 with the method of utilization of gear pump in order to a solution of the problems that occur. The results obtained from the special design tool emergency pump evacuation is to make the process of work safer and more comfortable when evacuating on an HD unit 785 – 7 since when the operation of the tool requires only 2 man power, fewer equipment, can shorten the evacuation process and cost efficiency for the evacuation process of 43.8%. Dalam dunia industri pertambangan inovasi selalu dibutuhkan untuk membantu pekerjaan manusia. Dengan adanya tuntutan zaman sehingga manusia menginginkan segala sesuatu dengan sistem yang lebih efektif dan terjamin keselamatannya. Salah satunya untuk menurunkan biaya dan tingkat resiko terjadinya cedera pada proses evakuasi unit. Penulis mengidentifikasi masalah yang terjadi pada saat Observasi di lapangan, masalah yang terjadi adalah saat evakuasi unit dengan menggunakan metode towing yang dinilai kurah efektif. Metode tersebut membutuhan lebid dari 2 man power, pralatan pendukung yang banyak dan proses yang panjang,sehingga menjadi kendala saat melakukan proses evakuasi unit. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik melakukan penelitian pembuatan rancang bangun sepecial tool emergency pump evacuation pada HD 785 – 7 dengan metode pemanfaatan gear pump yang bertujuan sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang terjadi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari rancang bangun special tool emergency pump evacuation adalah membuat proses pekerjaan menjadi lebih aman dan nyaman saat melakukan evakuasi pada unit HD 785 – 7, karena pada saat pengoperasian alat hanya memerlukan 2 man power, pralatan yang lebih sedikit, dapat mempersingkat proses evakuasi dan efisiensi biaya untuk proses evakuasi sebesar 43,8 %.
