APLIKASI RFID UNTUK MEMBUKA DAN MENUTUP PORTAL POLITEKNIK NEGERI BALIKPAPAN

Abstrak (Abstracts)

The task is using RFID (radio Frequency idenfication) is used as a medium inputan to open and close on the portals of college polytechnic events with inputan in the from of RFID tags to read RFID reader is then processed in a microcontroller and match data with data stored in internal memory arduino uno system output in the form of motor servo and software the visual basic. So it with mengidenfikasi the results of scan a tag never being read by RFID reader then the result of the RFID reader will open and close the portal that is displayed and stored by software the visual basic form of the name, date of and hours of access in and out the campus state of polytechnic Balikpapan. With features are given to facilitate the safety of the campus in controlling employee and foreigners in and out on the campus of the state polytechnic Balikpapan and, of course, can increase security. Tugas akhir ini menggunakan RFID ( radio Frequency idenfication ) yang digunakan sebagai media inputan untuk membuka dan menutup pada portal kampus Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan dengan inputan berupa RFID tag yang dibaca RFID reader kemudian diolah dalam mikrokontroller dan mencocokkan data tersebut dengan data yang disimpan dalam memori internal Arduino Uno. Sistem output berupa motor servo dan software Visual Basic. Cara kerja alat ini dengan mengidenfikasi hasil scan kartu tag RFID yang dibaca oleh RFID reader kemudian hasil dari scan RFID reader akan membuka dan menutup portal yang ditampilkan dan tersimpan oleh software Visual Basic berupa nama, tanggal, dan jam akses masuk maupun keluar pada kampus Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan. Dengan fitur yang diberikan dapat mempermudah petugas keamanan kampus dalam mengontrol karyawan maupun orang asing yang masuk dan keluar pada kampus Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan dan tentunya dapat meningkatkan sistem keamanan.
