RANCANG BANGUN SPRING PRESS HYDRAULIC IN CYLINDER HEAD

ABSTRACT Valve spring is a component found in the cylinder head which plays an important role. The valve spring is one of the components of the valve mechanism that plays an important role in the combustion process in the engine combustion chamber. The working principle of the valve spring is to return the position of the valve that was open due to the pressure of the camshaft so that it is tightly closed again. And in the process of removing and installing valve spring, it is quite time and energy consuming in the process of work. So we need a tool that functions to help the removal and installation process safely and easily. Therefore a special tool spring press hydraulic was made using a hydraulic jack as auxiliary power to remove and install the valve spring and no longer use excessive human power. he main parts of this tool are hydraulic jack, cylinder iron, plate iron. This special tool also has 4 legs that function as load support for this special tool. In the special tool spring press hydraulic testing process, the results are quite good with a better time effectiveness level than the tools commonly used before. Keywords : Valve spring, Hydraulic jack, Cylinder head ABSTRAK Valve spring adalah sebuah komponen yang terdapat pada cylinder head yang berperan penting Pegas katup atau valve spring adalah salah satu komponen mekanisme katup yang berperan penting dalam proses pembakaran pada ruang bakar mesin. Prinsip kerja pegas katup adalah mengembalikan posisi katup yang terbuka akibat daya tekanan noken as agar kembali tertutup rapat. Dan dalam pengerjaan remove and install valve spring ini cukup menguras waktu dan tenaga dalam proses pekerjaan nya. Maka dibutuhkan suatu tool yang berfungsi untuk membantu proses pelepasan dan pemasangan dengan aman dan mudah. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah special tool spring press hydraulic dengan menggunakan hydraulic jack sebagai tenaga bantu untuk melepas dan memasang valve spring dan tidak lagi menggunakan tenaga manusia secara berlebih. Adapun Bagian utama dari alat ini adalah hydraulic jack, besi silinder, besi plat. Special tool ini juga memiliki 4 buah kaki yang berfungsi sebagai penopang beban dari special tool ini. Pada bagian proses pengujian special tool spring press hydraulic didapatkan hasil yang cukup baik dengan tingkat efektifitas waktu yang lebih baik dibandingkan tool yang biasa digunakan sebelumnya.
