ANALISIS KERUSAKAN JALAN RUHUI RAHAYU I – JALAN SEPINGGAN BARU BALIKPAPAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PAVEMENT CONDITION INDEX

Abstrak (Abstracts)

ABSTRACT Roads are an essential ground transportation infrastructure that facilitates human activity. road conditions can affect mobility for road users and good road conditions can provide a sense of security and comfort to road users. Ruhui Rahayu I street to the Sepinggan Baru street connections such as markets and recreation parks. Based on the observations made on Ruhui Rahayu I street to the Sepinggan Baru street appropriate methods are needed. Observations of the Ruhui Rahayu I street to the Sepinggan Baru street purpose to doing research on road conditions by using method Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dividing the streets some stations which is every 100 meters. In this survey executed direcly on the ground to know the condition of the road in general and research on road damage Ruhui Rahayu I street to the Sepinggan Baru street Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. Research shows that the value of the improved condition index (PCI) average Ruhui Rahayu I street to the Sepinggan Baru is 76.04 which falls in the Very Good category. But there’s one station that got very bad category namely station 0+200 to 0+300 from Ruhui Rahayu I street track 1 and one station that got bad category namely station 0+900 to 1+000 from Ruhui Rahayu I street track 2. and STA 1+600 s.d 1+700, STA 2+800 s.d 2+900, STA 2+900 s.d 3+000. For repair methods is P2 (Melting of local asphalt) and P5 (Hole patch). With the method of improvement it can covering a damage and adding age to the asphalt to give a riders a sence of comfort and security. ABSTRAK Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi darat yang sangat penting untuk mempermudah aktivitas manusia. Kondisi jalan dapat mempengaruhi mobilitas bagi pengguna jalan dan kondisi jalan yang baik dapat memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi pengguna jalan. Ruas jalan Ruhui Rahayu I hingga jalan Sepinggan Baru yang memiliki peranan menghubungkan antar pusat kegiatan lokal seperti pasar dan taman rekreasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang telah dilakukan di ruas jalan Ruhui Rahayu hingga Sepinggan baru dibutuhkan metode yang sesuai. Pengamatan yang dilakukan Jalan Ruhui Rahayu I – Sepinggan Baru bertujuan untuk melakukan penelitian kondisi jalan dengan menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dengan membagi jalan beberapa STA yaitu tiap 100 m. Dalam survey ini dilaksanakan secara langsung pengamatan dilapangan untuk mengetahui kondisi jalan secara umum dan kerusakan yang diteliti pada jalan Ruhui Rahayu I – Sepinggan baru Balikpapan, Kalimatan Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai indeks kondisi perkerasan Pavement Condition Index (PCI) rata-rata jalan Ruhui Rahayu I – Sepinggan Baru adalah 87,21 yang termasuk dalam kategori sempurna. akan tetapi ada satu segmen jalan yang dalam kondisi sangat buruk yaitu STA 0+200 s.d 0+300 di ruas jalan Ruhui Rahayu I jalur 1 dan segmen jalan yang dalam kondisi buruk yaitu STA 0+900 s.d 1+000 di Ruas Jalan Ruhui Rahayu I jalur 2, dan STA 1+600 s.d 1+700, STA 2+800 s.d 2+900, STA 2+900 s.d 3+000. Untuk metode perbaikan P2(Laburan aspal setempat/Pengaspalan) dan P5 (Penambalan lubang).
