SISTEM INFORMASI JADWAL MATA KULIAH TEKNIK ELEKTRO BERBASIS WEBSITE

The course schedule is one of the important aspects in the Balikpapan State Polytechnic educational institute, especially in the electrical engineering department. The course schedule relates to the allocation of several things such as the name of the course, room, time, and the name of the lecturer who teaches. So far, scheduling has used computer aids but has not been used optimally, such as the absence of media or information facilities that can be accessed by admins, lecturers and students such as if the lecture of one of the lecturers is postponed or abolished, to find out the lecturer must first discuss with students on campus or send messages via the application WhatsApp. To help overcome this problem, a-based electrical engineering course schedule information system was created website. With this information system, the scheduling process will become more modern, computerized, centralized, and accurate. With-based information system, websitethe thisadmin can manage scheduling without having to use a computer and then the schedule is printed on a sheet of paper, the admin can manage the schedule via a computer or cellphone, this can be done because this scheduling information system is-based website. With this website-based information system, lecturers will also find it easier to update their schedules, lecturers can update their schedules anytime and anywhere. Here students are also facilitated to see the course schedule because the schedule of this course will be displayed on the LCD layer in the electrical building and can also be viewed through the website information system for the electrical engineering course schedule. Jadwal mata kuliah merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam institut pendidikan Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan khusunya di jurusan Teknik elektro. Jadwal mata kuliah berkaitan dengan pengalokasian beberapa hal seperti nama mata kuliah, ruangan, waktu, dan nama dosen yang mengajar. Selama ini penjadwalan sudah menggunakan alat bantu komputer tetapi belum digunakan secara optimal, seperti tidak adanya media atau sarana informasi yang dapat diakses oleh admin, dosen dan mahasiswa seperti apabila perkuliahan salah satu dosennya diundur atau ditiadakan, untuk mengetahui hal tesebut dosen harus berdiskusi dulu dengan mahasiswa di kampus atau mengrim pesan melalui aplikasi whatsapp. Untuk membantu mengatasi masalah tersebut, dibuat sebuah sistem informasi jadwal mata kuliah teknik elektro berbasis website. Dengan sistem informasi ini, proses penjadwalan akan menjadi lebih modern, terkomputerisasi, terpusat, dan akurat. Dengan adanya sistem informasi berbasis website ini admin dapat mengelola penjadwalan tanpa harus menggunakan komputer lalu jadwalnya di print di lembaran kertas, admin dapat mengelola jadwal melalui komputer atau ponsel, ini dapat dilakukan karena sistem informasi penjadwalan ini berbasis website. Dengan sistem informasi berbasis website ini dosen juga akan jadi lebih mudah untuk memperbarui jadwalnya, dosen dapat memperbarui jadwalnya kapanpun dan dimanapun. Disini mahasiswa juga dipermudahkan untuk melihat jadwal mata kuliah karena jadwal mata kuliah ini akan ditampilkan pada layer lcd di gedung elektro dan dapat juga dilihat melalui website sistem informasi jadwal mata kuliah Teknik elektro.Keyword : Course Schedule, Information System, Website
