PERANAN FRONT DESK AGENT (FDA) DALAM MENCEGAH PENYEBARAN COVID-19 DI HOTEL GRAND TJOKRO BALIKPAPAN

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Covid-19 has an impact on health protocols in Grand Tjokro Balikpapan. So this research aims to find out the Role of Front Desk Agent in Reducing the Impact of Covid-19 Spread at Grand Tjokro Hotel Balikpapan. In this case, the Front Desk Agent provides check-in service as the first interaction with guests. The writing of this Final Task uses qualitative research descriptive methods to obtain various information related to the role of front desk agents during the covid-19 pandemic. Data collection methods use observations, interviews, documentation, and library studies to analyze the results of research conducted. The results showed that front desk agent has a very big role in reducing the spread of covid-19 in Grand Tjokro Hotel Balikpapan, because the front desk agent is the first person to interact with guests, and is responsible in providing health protocol information in the hotel to guests. So the front desk agent must maintain his health and understand all existing health protocols in accordance with the guidelines of CHSE so that the Front Desk Agent in Grand Tjokro Balikpapan has performed its duties and roles very well, supported by equipment, equipment, and equipped with health protocol equipment that is always provided by the hotel. So as to reduce the impact of the spread of covid-19 in Grand Tjokro Balikpapan. Covid-19 memberikan dampak terhadap protokol kesehatan di Grand Tjokro Balikpapan. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Front Desk Agent dalam Mengurangi Dampak Penyebaran Covid-19 di Hotel Grand Tjokro Balikpapan. Dalam hal ini tidak terlepas dari bagaimana Front Desk Agent memberikan pelayanan check-in sebagai interaksi pertama yang dilakukan dengan tamu. Penulisan Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif metode deskriptif untuk memperoleh berbagai informasi yang berhubungan dengan peran front desk agent pada masa pandemi covid-19. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka untuk menganalisa hasil penelitian yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Front Desk Agent mempunyai peran yang sangat besar dalam mengurangi penyebaran covid-19 yang ada di Hotel Grand Tjokro Balikpapan, karena front desk agent merupakan orang pertama yang berinteraksi dengan tamu, dan bertanggung jawab dalam memberikan informasi protokol kesehatan yang ada di hotel kepada tamu. Sehingga front desk agent harus menjaga kesehatan tubuhnya dan memahami seluruh protokol kesehatan yang ada yaitu sesuai dengan panduan dari CHSE sehingga Front Desk Agent di Grand Tjokro Balikpapan telah melakukan tugas dan perannya dengan sangat baik, didukung oleh peralatan, perlengkapan, serta dilengkapi dengan peralatan protokol kesehatan yang selalu disediakan oleh hotel. Sehingga dapat mengurangi dampak penyebaran covid-19 yang ada di Grand Tjokro Balikpapan.
