RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI BACKLOG REPORT BERBASIS DIGITAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFESIENSI MANAJEMEN SERVICE DI PT. UNITED TRACTORS TBK SITE JEMBAYAN NFMC

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Backlog Report is a mechanical reporting document submitted before the mechanic carries out a job, which the contents are the results of mechanical activities while carrying out the work. The existence of this document is one of the important documents in completing mechanical reporting besides TSR, MCT and MAR. This document is filled in manually after the mechanic has finished doing the job which contains a description of the completeness of the job and the unit being worked on. Backlog Report documents often encounter several problems, namely easily lost, scattered, damaged, difficult to find during the audit, and ineffective and inefficient file storage places due to the use of too much paper, which causes accumulation of files. From these problems the researcher made a Backlog Report document digitally in the form of an application to minimize the occurrence of previous problems. The process of designing and making this digital-based Backlog Report application uses JotForm, with a drag and drop system. The method of using this digital-based Backlog Report application is by inputting data via a smartphone, then when the data is complete and sent directly to the supervisors smartphone for review and approval later, it can be sent directly to the admin E-mail that has been determined. From the results obtained, the digital-based Backlog Report application has been processed properly and has a positive impact, namely making it easier to search for data, providing security in Backlog Report document storage and making the process of filling Backlog Report hassling data more efficient and effective. Backlog Report adalah sebuah dokumen reporting mekanik yang diajukan sebelum mekanik melaksanakan suatu pekerjaan, dimana isinya berupa hasil dari kegiatan mekanik selama melaksanakan pekerjaan. Adanya dokumen ini sebagai salah satu dokumen penting dalam melengkapi reporting mekanik selain TSR, MCT dan MAR. Dokumen ini diisi secara manual setelah mekanik selesai melakukan pekerjaan yang berisi deskripsi kelengkapan job dan unit yang di kerjakan. Pada dokumen Backlog Report sering dijumpai beberapa masalah yaitu mudah hilang, tercecer, rusak, sulit dicari pada saat audit, serta tempat penyimpanan berkas yang kurang efektif dan efisien karena penggunaan kertas yang terlalu banyak, sehingga menyebabkan penumpukan pada berkas. Dari permasalah tersebut penulis membuat dokumen Backlog Report secara digital berupa suatu aplikasi untuk meminimalisir terjadinya masalah sebelumnya. Proses perancangan dan pembuatan aplikasi Backlog Report berbasis digital ini menggunakan JotForm, dengan sistem drag and drop. Cara penggunaan aplikasi Backlog Report berbasis digital ini dengan menginput data melalui smartphone kemudian ketika data sudah lengkap terisi dan dikirirm langsung ke smartphone milik supervisor untuk diperiksa ulang dan disetujui kemudian dapat langsung terkirim melalui E – mail admin yang sudah ditentukan. Dari hasil yang didapatkan aplikasi Backlog Report berbasis digital telah dapat diproses dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif yaitu mempermudah pencarian data, memberikan keamanan dalam penyimpanan dokumen Backlog Report serta membuat proses pengisian data repoting Backlog lebih efisien dan efektif.
