Pengaruh Penambahan Abu Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (ATKKS) Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton

The growth of palm oil industrial that keep increasing will have some impact on the waste from fresh fruit bunche s that have been not used optimally. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect Palm Bunch Ash (PBA) to the compressive strength. The test used 3 variations of PBA that is 0%, 1% and 2% from the weight of cement. Quality concrete plan is 14,53 MPa . The number of sample is 18 pieces of cylinder 15cm x 30cm and tested at 7 and 28 days. From the results of the compressive strength test in the laboratory, the effect of the addition of 1% PBA (CA) at 7 and 28 days decreased the strength as much as 9,85% and 20,23% compared to the concrete addition of 0% PBA (BN). While the addition of PBA 2% (CB) at 7 has increased the strength of concrete as much as 4.22% and at 28 day there was a decrease of 7,14% compared to concrete addition of 0% PBA (BN). Key word s: Palm Bunch Ash (PBA), additive, compressive strength Perkembangan industri pada limbah dari pe kelapa sawit yang terus meningkat akan berdampak ngolahan Tandan Buah Segar yang belum digunakan secara maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Abu Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (ATKKS) terhadap kuat tekan beton. Pengujian ini menggunakan 3 variasi penambahan ATKKS yaitu 0%, 1% dan 2% dari berat se men, rencana mutu beton 14,53 MPa. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 18 buah, silinder 15cm x 30cm yang diuji pada umur 7 dan 28 hari. Dari hasil uji kuat tekan di laboratorium didapatkan p engaruh penambahan ATKKS 1% (CA) pada umur 7 dan 28 hari mengalami penurunan kuat tekan sebanyak 9,85% dan 20,23% dibandingkan dengan beton penambahan ATKKS 0% (BN). Sedangkan penambahan ATKKS 2% (CB) pada umur 7 mengalami peningkatan kuat tekan beton sebanyak 4,22% dan pada umur 28 hari terjadi penurunan 7,14% dibandingkan dengan Kata K unc i: beton penambahan ATKKS 0% (BN).
