Rancang Bangun Alat Angkut Manual
Abstrak (Abstracts)
Transport equipment is an important tool in the mechanism of transportation of goods from one place to another. The advantage of using the conveyance is that it can make it easier for workers to move a material or spare part from far or near places. An accident at a mechanical engineering workshop at the State Polytechnic of Balikpapan, one of the students on job training carried out transportation using a trolley without using a lifting aid, the student was squeezed by a component whose capacity was heavy so that his hand was injured due to being pinched by the workpiece. He made modifications to lifting so that students can lift easily without using their hands as a result, students can injure their hands so that the safety of the tool is prioritized. The purpose of making this means of transportation is that students can know the efficiency of man power, safety when carrying out transportation and lifting on a workpiece such as carrying out a practicum of transporting components in the mechanical engineering workshop of the Balikpapan State Polytechnic. The mechanical engineering workshop already has transportation equipment such as hand pallets, hand trolleys, but when carrying out the practicum you have to lift the workpiece manually by hand so that time efficiency, safety and main power are spent more, for example, using a hand pallet you have to put blocks or wood in fladbad so that the workpiece can be transported and lifting the workpiece must use a hydraulic lever so the time used is quite a lot if using a trolley you have to lift it manually by hand so large sizes are very difficult to pass.The method used is direct observation carried out during field work practices at the mechanical engineering workshop in August-December 2020. From the results of the time efficiency analysis, it is around 46.15%And the result of safety analysis is 38%, manpower analysis is 50%. So from the results of the percentage calculation above the design of manual transportation equipment made by the author, the results of the analysis can be concluded that the transportation equipment is more efficient in terms of time, safety, man power Alat angkut merupakan alat penting dalam mekanisme transportasi suatu barang dari suatu tempat ke tempat yang lain. Kelebihan menggunakan alat angkut tersebut yaitu dapat memudahkan pekerja memindahkan suatu material atau sparepart dari tempat yang jauh maupun yang dekat. Suatu accsident di workshop teknik mesin politeknik negeri balikpapan salah satu mahasiswa on job training melakukan pengangkutan menggunakan trolly tanpa menggunakan alat bantu angkat, mahasiswa terjepit oleh suatu komponen yang kapasitasnya berat sehingga tangan cidera akibat terjepit oleh benda kerja. Di buat nya modifikasi lifting agar mahasiswa dapat mengangkat dengan mudah tanpa menggunakan tangan akibatnya mahasiswa dapat cidera pada tangan sehingga safety pada alat tersebut lebih di utamakan . Tujuan dibuat nya alat angkut ini adalah mahasiswa dapat mengetahui efisinesi waktu man power , safety saat melakukan pengangkutan dan pengangkatan pada suatu benda kerja seperti melakukan praktikum mengangkut komponen-komponen yang ada di workshop teknik mesin Politeknik negeri balikpapan. Di workshop teknik mesin sudah memiliki alat angkut seperti hand pallet, hand trolly namun pada saat melaukan praktikum harus melakukan pengangkatan benda kerja secara manual menggunakan tangan sehingga efisiensi waktu, safety dan main power lebih banyak di keluarkan seperti, menggunakan hand pallet harus meletakan balok atau kayu di fladbad agar benda kerja dapat di angkut dan mengangkat benda kerja harus menggunakan tuas hydraulic maka waktu yang digunakan cukup banyak jika menggunakan trolly harus mengangkat secara manual menggunakan tangan maka ukuran yang besar sangat sulit di lewati. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi secara langsung yang dilakukan pada saat melakukan praktek kerja lapangan Di workshop teknik mesin pada bulan Agustus-Desember 2020. Dari hasil analisa efisiensi waktu yaitu sekitar 46.15 % Dan hasil analisa safety sebesar 38% analisa manpower sebesar 50% . Maka dari hasil perhitungan persentase di atas rancang bangun alat angkut manual yang di buat penulis maka hasil analisa tersebut dapat di simpulkan bahwa alat angkut tersebut lebih efisien dari segi waktu, safety, man power
