ANALISA KINERJA UNIT PC200-8M0 TERHADAP WORKING HOURS DI PT CANDRA BATUAH MUSTIKA LESTARI SITE ADARO TANJUNG

PT United Tractors is the largest heavy equipment distributor company in Indonesia, many units are used for coal production. On the Adaro Tanjung site the existence of heavy equipment units is a very supportive of the success of an operation itself. PT Candra Batuah Mustika Lestari is a customer engaged in support in doing mining production at Adaro Tanjung site has a new unit that is PC200-8M0 with EX55 and EX56 unit code. The excavator unit as a product of mining activities is considered very important. At the On the Job Training and observation, the researcher found the problem in the new unit that is PC200-8M0 excavator which decreased the working hours target influenced by standby hours exceeding the target specified. When unit performance decreases due to decreased working hours, especially excavator units, then the problem will affect the mining production. Given these problems, the researcher are interested in further tackling the problem in order to find out the cause of the high frequency standby and tendency of the working hours on the PC200-8M0 unit and can overcome or overcome the falling working hours on the unit. Based on data processing 9 months of operational units and observation for 5 months, the most likely factors causing the decline in working hours are weather factors and mechanical limitations as well as operators during shift turnover and when mechanics and operators are unable to perform production activities. Less backlog runs on the unit become one of the causes. On the other hand the problem of the condition where the treatment becomes another factor causing difficulties to make treatment when the condition of the place is not possible due to the safety factor. With these problems, the authors recommend attempts to lower the standby hours on PC200-8M0 units. PT United Tractors adalah sebuah perusahaan distributor alat berat terbesar di Indonesia, banyak unit yang digunakan untuk produksi batu bara. Pada site Adaro Tanjung keberadaan unit alat berat merupakan hal yang sangat menunjang keberhasilan dari suatu operasi itu sendiri. PT Candra Batuah Mustika Lestari merupakan customer yang bergerak dibidang support dalam melakukan produksi pertambangan di site Adaro Tanjung memiliki unit baru yaitu PC200-8M0 dengan kode unit EX55 dan EX56. Unit excavator sebagai penujang produksi kegiatan pertambangan dinilai sangat penting. Pada saat melakukan On the Job Training dan melakukan observasi, penulis menemukan permasalahan pada unit baru yaitu excavator PC200-8M0 yang mengalami penurunan target working hours yang dipengaruhi oleh standby hours yang melebihi target yang di tentukan. Ketika kinerja unit berkurang akibat menurunnya working hours khususnya unit excavator, maka permasalahan tersebut akan berpengaruh pada produksi pertambangan. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk mengkasi lebih lanjut terhadap permasalahan tersebut agar dapat mengetahui faktor penyebab dari tingginya frekuensi waktu standby serta kecenderungan presentase working hours pada unit PC200-8M0 dan dapat mengatasi atau mengatasi turunnya working hours pada unit tersebut. Berdasarkan pengolahan data 9 bulan unit beroperasi dan observasi selama 5 bulan, kemungkinan terbesar faktor penyebab turunnya working hours adalah faktor cuaca dan keterbatasan mekanik serta operator saat pergantian shift dan saat mekanik maupun operator berhalangan untuk melakukan kegiatan produksi. Kurang berjalannya backlog pada unit menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Di sisi lain masalah kondisi tempat melakukan perawatan menjadi faktor penyebab lain sehingga terjadi kesulitan untuk melakukan perawatan saat kondisi tempat tidak memungkinkan dikarenakan oleh faktor safety. Dengan permasalahan tersebut, penulis merekomendasikan upaya untuk menurunkan standby hours pada unit PC200-8M0.
