Pembuatan Sistem Informasi Laundry Hotel Berbasis Web Pada Jurusan Perhotelan Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan

Abstrak (Abstracts)

The hotel laundry course discusses how the system is in hotel laundry, hotel laundry needs, hotel laundry SOPs. However, currently in the hospitality department there is no special information system for laundry transactions. This information system is needed by students of the Balikpapan State Polytechnic Department of Hospitality as a learning medium for hotel laundry. Especially in the Room Division Study Program where the Laundry Hotel learning still uses a manual system so that a hotel laundry transaction information system is made to make it easier for lecturers and students in the learning process on campus. From these problems led to the idea of creating a web-based information system, which includes managing hotel laundry transactions and information about hotel laundry. In addition, this information system can be done online. The methodology used in making this information system is the Waterfall method. The information system is made using Laravel as a framework and MySQL as a database and HTML as the programming language used. To access this information system, you can use a web browser on your cellphone, laptop, or PC that is connected to the internet network. With this information system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for students to study hotel laundry transactions, enter customer data, and print hotel laundry income reports. Mata kuliah laundry hotel membahas tentang bagaimana sistem dalam laundry hotel, keperluan laundry hotel, SOP laundry hotel. Namun saat ini pada jurusan perhotelan belum terdapat sistem informasi khusus untuk transaksi laundry. Sistem informasi ini sangat dibutuhkan mahasiswa Jurusan Perhotelan Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan sebagai media pembelajaran laundry hotel. Khususnya pada Program Studi Divisi Kamar yang dimana pembelajaran Laundry Hotel masih menggunakan sistem manual sehingga di buatkan sistem informasi transaksi laundry hotel agar memudahkan dosen dan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran di kampus. Dari permasalahan tersebut memunculkan gagasan untuk membuat suatu sistem informasi berbasis web, yang didalamnya dalam melakukan pengelolaan transaksi laundry hotel dan informasi tentang laundry hotel. Selain itu, sistem informasi ini dapat dilakukan secara online. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sistem informasi ini adalah metode Waterfall. Sistem informasi yang dibuat menggunakan Laravel sebagai framework dan MySQL sebagai database serta HTML sebagai Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan. Untuk mengakses sistem informasi ini dapat menggunakan web browser yang ada di Handphone, Laptop, atau PC masing masing yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam mempelajari transaksi laundry hotel, melakukan penginputan data pelanggan, serta pencetakan laporan pemasukan laundry hotel.
