RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENGKABUT GEDUNG WALET OTOMATIS BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Swallows nest is one of the export commodities that has a fairly high economic value, and the birds nest has many benefits to increase the bodys immune system, source of minerals, lower cholesterol and heart disease. In the cultivation of swallows nests, swallow breeders experience problems, especially in maintaining the temperature and humidity in the building. Swallow breeders must maintain a stable temperature and humidity in the swiftlet building. If the temperature is high enough, the swallows nest will be damaged and the swallow will feel uncomfortable living in the nest. Based on this, a temperature control and monitoring system was made in cultivating swiftlet nests based on Android. This system consists of various electronic components such as Wemos-D1, DHT-22 temperature sensor, and Mist Maker. The use of this tool will be operated through an Android Smartphone equipped with the Telegram application that can monitor and control the temperature automatically. The ultrasonic sensor is used to measure radio waves from the sensor to the object. The output of the sensor is turning on the water pump to fill the water in the Mist Maker storage box. With this system, farmers are expected to be able to monitor and control the temperature conditions in the swiftlet building and produce swallows nests with better quality Sarang burung walet merupakan salah satu komuditas ekspor yang memiliki nilai ekonomis cukup tinggi, dan sarang bulung walet mempunyai banyak manfaat untuk meningkatkan imun daya tahan tubuh, sumber mineral, menurunkan kolesterol dan penyakit jantung. Dalam budidaya sarang burung walet, peternak walet mengalami kendala terutama dalam menjaga temperatur suhu dan kelembaban didalam gedung. Peternak walet harus menjaga kesetabilan suhu dan kelembaban didalam gedung walet. Jika suhu cukup tinggi akan menyebabkan sarang burung walet menjadi rusak dan burung walet merasa tidak nyaman tinggal pada sarangnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dibuat sebuah sistem kontrol dan monitoring suhu dalam berbudidaya sarang burung walet berbasis android. Sistem ini terdiri dari berbagai komponen elektronik seperti Wemos-D1, Sensor suhu DHT-22, dan Mist Maker. Penggunaan alat ini akan diopraasikan melalui Smartphone Android yang dilengkapi dengan aplikasi Telegram yang dapat memonitoring dan mengontrol suhu secara otomatis. Adapun sensor Ultrasonik digunakan untuk mengukur gelombang radio dari sensor ke objek. Hasil output dari sensor tersebut adalah menyalakan pompa air untuk mengisi air didalam box penampungan Mist Maker. Dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan petani dapat memonitorng dan mengontrol kondisi suhu didalam gedung walet serta Fmenghasilkan sarang burung walet dengan kualitas yang lebih baik
