ANALISA LIFE TIME TRACK SHOE PADA UNIT D375A-5 MENGGUNAKAN METODE DESKRIPTIF DI PT. PAMA PERSADA NUSANTARA SITE PT. KIDECO JAYA AGUNG BATU KAJANG

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Track shoe is one undercarriage componet of bulldozer that has function to forward the press force of the unit to the ground (ground). Track shoe is attached on the bulldozer in order to operation in the rocky area, whereas when operated in a sandy area the wear rate tends to be greater. Based on Basic Mechanic Course PT. United Tracktor Tbk in 2011 that undercarriage treatment spends about 45-60% from the unit maintenance costs. If there has been wear and tear beyond the standard, there will be replacement of components. Therefore the researcher is interested in conducting research that is aimed to determine the life time of the components of track shoe so that it can find out earlier life time from the track shoe. It can be used as a reference for companies to improve service quality and service job and avoid pending part on bulldozer unit 375A-5. This research method used descriptive method. This research use secondary data that was P2U D375A-5 month data from january to september year 2014. The result of this research is wear rate of track shoe per hour at D375A-5 unit with confidence interval 95% are: Lower Limit Interval: 0.0103 mm / h and Upper Limit Interval: 0.0131 mm / hour. While the shortest life time: 4.826.61 hours and the longest life time: 6.091.13 hours. Track shoe adalah salah satu komponen undercarriage bulldozer yang berfungsi untuk meneruskan gaya tekan unit ke permukaan tanah (ground). Track shoe dipasang pada bulldozer untuk keperluan operasi didaerah yang berbatu, sedangkan apabila dioperasikan didaerah yang berpasir tingkat keausannya cendrung lebih besar. Berdasarkan Basic Mechanic Course PT. United Tracktor Tbk. Tahun 2011 bahwa perawatan undercarriage menghabiskan sekitar 45-60% dari biaya perawatan unit. Apabila sudah tejadi keausan melebihi standar akan dilakukan pergantian komponen. Oleh Karen itu penulis tertarik melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui usia pakai dari komponen track shoe sehingga dapat mengetahui lebih awal life time dari track shoe. Hal ini dapat dijadikan bahan acuan bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan serta pengerjaan service dan menghindari terjadinya pending part pada unit bulldozer 375A-5. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yaitu data P2U D375A-5 bulan januari-september tahun 2014. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian adalah Tingkat keausan track shoe perjam pada unit D375A-5 dengan confidence interval 95% adalah : Interval Lower Limit : 0.0103 mm/jam dan Interval Upper Limit : 0.0131 mm/jam. Sedangkan Life time terpendek : 4.826.61 jam dan life time terpanjang : 6.091.13 jam.
