IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM SAFETY OIL PRESSURE BERBASIS MODULE DEEP SEA 3110 PADA ALAT BANTU BONGKAR MUAT PETI KEMAS SIDE LOADER DI PT. KALTIM KARIANGAU TERMINAL

Abstrak (Abstracts)

The sensor contained in the Side Loader has a deficiency in the protection section. The oil pressure sensor only provides a warning or indicator that the oil pressure has decreased or has reached the minimum limit on the display in the operator s cab. However, it does not give a signal to perform a cut/off command on the engine, resulting in the side loader experiencing engine damage. Therefore, a system was created to control the oil pressure capacity. In this study, an oil pressure sensor is used to detect oil pressure in the engine and a Deep Sea 3110 module which functions to monitor and control oil pressure. The results of this study found that the system can detect the oil pressure in the engine if it reaches 5 bar then the oil pressure is declared safe, but if the oil pressure is at 2 bar then the system will reach the engine. This indicates that the system can take action on the Side Loader if low oil pressure is detected. After doing this research it is hoped that the oil pressure sensor can minimize damage to the side loader unit. Sensor yang terdapat pada Side Loader memiliki kekurangan pada bagian proteksinya sensor oil pressure hanya memberikan peringatan atau sign indicator saja bahwa tekanan oli berkurang atau mencapai batas minimum pada display di cabin operatornya. Tetapi tidak memberikan sinyal untuk perintah cutoff pada engine sehingga mengakibatkan side loader mengalami kerusakan engine. Oleh karena itu, dibuat suatu sistem untuk mengontrol kapasitas tekanan oli. Pada penelitian ini digunakan sensor oil pressure untuk mendeteksi tekanan oli yang berada pada mesin dan module Deep Sea 3110 yang berfungsi untuk memonitor dan mengontrol tekanan oli. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa sistem dapat mendeteksi tekanan oli pada mesin apabila mencapai 5 bar berati tekanan oli dinyatakan aman, tetapi jika tekanan oli berada di 2 bar maka sistem akan menghentikan mesin. Ini menandakan bahwa sistem dapat memberikan tindakan pada Side Loader apabila terdeteksi tekanan oli habis. Setelah dilakukan penelitian ini diharapkan sensor oil pressure dapat meminimalisir kerusakan unit side loader.
