SISTEM PENGENDALIAN PROTOTYPE EXCAVATOR BACKHOE SISTEM PNEUMATIC BERBASIS ANDROID ARDUINO UNO

Abstrak (Abstracts)

ABSTRACT Excavator is heavy equipment consisting of arm, boom and bucket and driven by hydraulic power driven by diesel engine and above wheel or chain. Excavator is the most versatile heavy equipment because it can handle a varietyof other heavy equipment work. As the name implies this heavy equipment has a major function for excavation work.But not limited that excavators can also do construction work such as making a slope ,loading dumptruck,rock breaker and so forth.This study purpose to design and create prototype excavator with android smartphone control system, do simulation and test to the system and can measure the distance of system range. Benefits of this research is able to design, create, simulate and test a prototype excavator with android smartphone control system, can be used as reference for real excavator development with remote control, can accelerate and save human power in process work more effective and efficient, And in an effort to facilitate the process of work with a greater level of risk such as cliff-work and extreme disaster areas. This research managed to make the excavator control long distance using android using arduino uno as microcontroller and bluetooth module as connection between existing applications on android with props eksavator with cost Rp 240.900.By using remote control eksavator using android expected to control eksavator remotely with the help of monitor. Making this tool is very useful for the development of existing technology one of them android. Future research development will be done with higher quality and size and automatic control system so that excavator can determine, find and able to lift material automatically. Keywords :Eksavator, android smartphone ,bluetooth, boom, bucket, arm ABSTRAK Excavator (ekskavator) adalah alat berat yang terdiri dari lengan (arm), boom (bahu) serta bucket (alat keruk) dan digerakkan oleh tenaga hidrolis yang dimotori dengan mesin diesel dan berada di atas roda rantai (trackshoe).Excavator merupakan alat berat paling serbaguna karena bisa menangani berbagai macam pekerjaan alat berat lain. Sesuai dengan namanya (excavation), alat berat ini memiliki fungsi utama untuk pekerjaan penggalian. Namun tidak terbatas itu saja, excavator juga bisa melakukan pekerjaan kontruksi seperti membuat kemiringan (sloping), memuat dumptruck (loading), pemecah batu (breaker), dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat prototype excavator dengan sistem control smartphone android, melakukan simulasi dan uji coba terhadap sistem dan dapat melakukan pengukuran terhadap jarak jangkauan sistem. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah mampu mendesain, membuat, mensimulasi dan menguji sebuah prototype excavator dengan sistem control smartphone android, dapat dijadikan acuan untuk pengembangan excavator sesungguhnya dengan control jarak jauh, dapat mempercepat dan menghemat tenaga manusia dalam proses pengerjaan fungsi yang lebih efektif dan efisien, dan sebagai upaya untuk mempermudah proses pengerjaan dengan tingkat resiko yang lebih besar seperti pengerjaan tebing dan daerah-daerah bencana yang extrim.Penelitian ini berhasil membuat control eksavator jarak jauh menggunakan android dengan menggunakan arduino uno sebagai mikrokontroller dan modul bluettooth sebagai koneksi antara aplikasi yang ada pada android dengan alat peraga eksavator dengan biaya Rp 240.900. Dengan menggunakan control eksavator jarak jauh menggunakan android diharapkan dapat mengcontrol eksavator dari jarak jauh dengan bantuan monitor. Pembuatan alat ini sangat berguna bagi perkembangan dunia tambang dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi yang ada salah satunya android.Pengembangan penelitian kedepannya akan dilakukan dengan kualitas dan ukuran yang lebih besar serta sistem control yang otomatis sehingga excavator dapat menentukan , menemukan dan mampu mengangkat material secara automatis.
