ANALISIS PENYEBAB TERJADINYA ERROR INDICATOR FUEL LEVEL DAN FUEL GAUGE SENDER PADA UNIT DUMP TRUCK HINO RANGER FM 260 JD – 101 RMKU

This study focuses on the cause of the error indicator fuel level and fuel gauge sender on the Dump Truck Hino Ranger FM 260 JD-101 RMKU unit. The purpose of this research is to find the cause of the trouble in these components and to be able to find out how to make the right improvement so that the trouble does not happen again. The method of collecting data in this research is by direct observation, checking and testing as well as interviews with related parties. The data processing method in this study is by analyzing the data that has been collected and processed using the 8 step troubleshooting method. The results of this study indicate that the cause of the error indicator fuel level and fuel gauge sender on the Dump Truck Hino Ranger FM 260 JD-101 RMKU unit is trouble with the float arm fuel gauge sender, moving contact arm, and the connectivity between the sending indicator fuel level and wiring. fuel gauge sender. Improvements that have been made are to adjust the wiring using the Kawashima project method, make a cover on the sending indicator fuel level wiring, and install a filter or filter from an iron plate in the fuel filling hole Penelitian ini berfokus pada penyebab terjadinya error indicator fuel level and fuel gauge sender pada unit Dump Truck Hino Ranger FM 260 JD101 RMKU. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mencari penyebab terjadinya trouble pada komponen tersebut dan agar dapat mengetahui bagaimana cara improvement yang tepat agar trouble tidak terjadi kembali. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara observasi secara langsung, melakukan pengecekan dan pengujian serta wawancara kepada pihak yang terkait. Metode pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara menganalisis data yang telah dikumpulkan dan di olah dengan menggunakan metode 8 step troubleshooting. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penyebab terjadinya error indicator fuel level and fuel gauge sender pada unit Dump Truck Hino Ranger FM 260 JD-101 RMKU adalah trouble pada float arm fuel gauge sender, moving contact arm, dan pada konektivitas antara wiring sending indicator fuel level and fuel gauge sender. Improvement yang dilakukan ialah mengatur perkabelan dengan metode kawashima project, membuat cover pada wiring sending indicator fuel level, dan memasang penyaring atau filter dari plat besi di dalam lubang pengisian bahan bakar.
