PERANAN CUSTOMER SERVICE DALAM PELAYANAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LOYALITAS NASABAH PADA PT BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA KANTOR CABANG BALIKPAPAN SUDIRMAN

ABSTRACT The role of Customer Service in service to increase customer loyalty at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Balikpapan Sudirman Branch Office The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of customer service in service to increase customer loyalty at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Balikpapan Sudirman Branch Office. To reveal these issues in depth, the researchers used a qualitative approach with primary data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaire data. There are 2 direct resource persons, including customer service and operational service supervisors of Bank Rakyat Indonesia KC Balikpapan Sudirman, as well as customer respondents totaling 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data withdrawal. Then the data is described, analyzed and discussed to answer the problems posed. From the results of the study it was found that the role of customer service at Bank Rakyat Indonesia KC Balikpapan Sudirman, namely serving customers and providing information in accordance with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures). This research is in line with Isnawati (2019) and Ismawati (2020) which states that customer service plays a very important role in increasing customer loyalty, where customer service is in accordance with the specified service standards, and continues to be maintained considering the competition in the banking world to retain customers or find prospective customers. The role of customer service indirectly also plays a role in attracting new customers and retaining old customers, providing the best service to customers, conveying clear and accurate information to customers, being polite to customers, willing to listen and pay attention to customer complaints. ABSTRAK Peranan Customer Service dalam pelayanan untuk meningkatkan loyalitas nasabah pada PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Kantor Cabang Balikpapan Sudirman Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Peranan Customer Service dalam pelayanan untuk meningkatkan loyalitas nasabah PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Kantor Cabang Balikpapan Sudirman. Untuk mengungkap persoalan tersebut secara mendalam, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta data angket. Narasumber langsung berjumlah 2 orang diantaranya Customer Service dan Supervisor Layanan Operasional Bank Rakyat Indonesia KC Balikpapan Sudirman, serta responden nasabah berjumlah 100 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan data. Kemudian data tersebut diuraikan, dianalisis dan dibahas untuk menjawab permasalahan yang diajukan. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa Peranan Customer Service Bank Rakyat Indonesia KC Balikpapan Sudirman, yaitu melayani nasabah dan memberikan informasi sesuai dengan SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur). Pada penelitian ini sejalan dengan Isnawati (2019) dan Ismawati (2020) yang menyatakan Customer Service sangatlah berperan dalam meningkatkan loyalitas nasabah, dimana Customer Service sudah sesuai dengan standar pelayanan yang ditentukan, terus dipertahankan mengingat persaingan didunia perbankan untuk mempertahankan nasabah ataupun mencari calon nasabah. Peranan Customer Service secara tidak langsung juga berperan dalam menarik nasabah baru dan mempertahankan nasabah lama, memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik kepada nasabah, menyampaikan informasi yang jelas dan akurat kepada nasabah, bersikap sopan kepada nasabah, bersedia mendengarkan dan perhatian terhadap keluhan nasabah.
