RANCANG BANGUN SPECIAL TOOL REMOVE DAN INSTALL PISTON VOLVO ENGINE BRAKE ROCKER ARM PADA ENGINE VOLVO

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Overhaul is a thorough engine inspection and replacement of damaged components. overhaul requires a complete disassembly of the engine in order to find out the problems that occur in the engine. in carrying out the overhaul, the main power experienced problems in assembling the Volvo engine brake piston on the Volvo D16C5 engine cylinder head. The Volvo engine brake piston is an important component in the unit, because it greatly affects the performance of the engine itself. In compiling this research, the authors collected data based on the theories obtained during college and during on the job training at PT. Mandiri Herindo Adiperkasa. The author wants to make a tool to remove and install the Volvo engine brake piston in order to make work easier and reduce the risk of work accidents. This tool works by inserting two transmission plungers into the piston holes of the Volvo engine brake, then a 1⁄2 inch T handle is needed as an additional tool for the lever to use this tool. Connect the T handle to the socket wrench then turn it clockwise if you want to install and turn counterclockwise to remove. Remove and install Volvo engine brakes are usually done using snapring pliers. This tool makes it easier for mechanics to work on opening and installing the Volvo engine brake pistons so that it does not take a long time and mechanical safety is maintained. overhaul adalah pemeriksaan engine secara menyeluruh dan mengganti komponen yang rusak. overhaul membutuhkan pembongkaran total engine agar bisa mengetahui masalah yang terjadi pada engine. dalam melaksanakan overhaul para main power mengalami kendala dalam melakukan assembly piston Volvo engine brake pada cylinder head engine Volvo D16C5. Piston Volvo engine brake merupakan suatu component yang penting dalam unit, karena sangat berpengaruh terhadap performance dari engine itu sendiri. Dalam menyusun penelitian ini, penulis mengumpulkan data berdasarkan pada teori-teori yang diperoleh selama dibangku kuliah dan pada saat on the job training di PT. Mandiri Herindo Adiperkasa. penulis ingin membuat sebuah alat untuk melepas dan memasang piston Volvo engine brake agar dapat mempermudah pekerjaan dan mengurangi resiko kecelakaan kerja. Alat ini bekerja dengan memasukan dua plunger transimisi ke lubang piston Volvo engine brake, kemudian perlu T handle 1⁄2 inch sebagai alat tambahan untuk tuas menggunakan alat ini. Sambungkan handle T ke kunci socket lalu putarlah searah jarum jika ingin memasang dan putar lawan jarum jam untuk melepas. Remove and install Volvo engine brake biasanya dilakukan menggunakan tang snapring. Dengan adanya alat ini dapat memudahkan mekanik untuk pekerjaan membuka dan memasang piston Volvo engine brake sehingga tidak membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dan safety mekanik terjaga.
