ANALISA PROGRAM PERENCANAAN GENERAL OVERHAUL UNIT DOZER D155A-2 DZ 09 TERHADAP AKTUAL PELAKSANAAN DI PT. UNITED TRACTORS TBK SITE SEPARI CUSTOMER PT. MAHAKAM SUMBER JAYA

ABSTRACT PT. United Tractors is a heavy equipment distributor company. Beside that now also as service care and repair heavy equipment provider. Site Separi is one of Non-FMC branch on PT. United Tractors. Wherein service care and repair based on call service. When the author was doing On Job Training about 5 months from August – November, site Separi received project general overhaul for 5 unit dozer in PT. Mahakam Sumber Jaya. Among others for unit code DZ 02, DZ 06, DZ 09, DZ 10, and DZ 11. From field observation result, the author found an unscheduled from general overhaul progress. It was happen to most of the unit. Therefore the author interested to analyze cause of unscheduled general overhaul progress. The author take samples from 1 unit with unit code DZ 09, and it’s dozer D155A-2 type. Research progress was do by field observation when general overhaul go on. Other than that the author also collect support data to analyze the problem. After collect and doing data preparation, the author can conclude unscheduled happen because 2 factors, internal factor and external factor. Internal factor because of part was not ready for use to general overhaul progress and tools equipment support not support or complete. And for external factor because there in nor washing area on workshop environment. Because of that two factors unscheduled on general overhaul progress can happen. This matter can cause on physical availability and MTBF ( Mean Time Between Failure ) decline for that unit where actually the unit can doing production activity but wasted because length of repair process. So the amount of production decreased. In this case, need a control effort, for further work recommendations. ABSTRAK PT. United Tractors merupakan salah satu perusahaan distribusi alat berat. Selain itu sekarang juga sebagai penyedia jasa perawatan dan pebaikan alat berat. Site Separi merupakan salah satu cabang PT. United Tractors Non-FMC. Dimana jasa perawatan dan perbaikannya based on call service. Saat penulis melakukan On Job Training selama 5 bulan yaitu dari bulan Agustus – November, site Separi menerima project general overhaul 5 unit dozer di PT. Mahakam Sumber Jaya. Diantaranya dengan kode unit DZ 02, DZ 06, DZ 09, DZ 10, dan DZ 11. Dari hasil observasi lapangan penulis menemukan unscheduled pada proses general overhaul. Hal ini terjadi pada sebagian besar unit. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk menganalisa apa penyebab terjadinya unscheduled pada proses general overhaul. Penulis mengambil sample pada 1 unit yaitu dengan kode unit DZ 09 yang merupakan tipe dozer D155A-2. Proses penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi lapangan saat proses general overhaul berlangsung. Selain itu juga penulis mengumpulkan data pendukung untuk meneliti masalah tersebut. Setelah mengumpulkan dan dilakukan pengolahan data, penulis dapat menyimpulkan terjadinya unscheduled disebabkan oleh 2 faktor yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal diantaranya part yang belum mencukupi untuk dilakukannya general overhaul, tools and equipment support yang dimiliki kurang memadai. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu dikarenakan tidak adanya washing area di lingkungan workshop. Karena kedua faktor tersebut unscheduled pada proses general overhaul terjadi. Hal ini dapat berakibat pada menurunnya physical availability dan MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) unit tersebut dimana waktu untuk proses produksi terbuang akibatl amanya proses perbaikan. Sehingga jumlah produksi perusahaan menurun. Dalam hal ini perlu adanya upaya pengendalian untuk rekomendasi kerja selanjutnya.
