DESKRIPSI TUGAS AKHIR :
RANCANG BANGUN ALAT MONITORING PROSES CHARGING BATTERY BERBASIS ARDUINO UNO ATMEGA 328
Abstrak (Abstracts)
In the world of mining industry, an innovation is needed to help worker, to monitor battery condition, The researcher saw ther is not a tool on the unit that can monitor the condition of the battery, Therefore the researsher designed a tool that can monitor the condition of the battery, and also wants to develop a tool that can not monitor the condition of the battery, but also can tell the condition of the battery during of overheating to the operator, and also can to decide the process of charging when the battery overheat according to the material in the sheet data from one battery product, The tool that was created used Arduino Uno microcontroller with IC ATmega328, arduino Uno as the brain of the tool that will govern the running of the system tool. The results obtained from the making of the tool, is expected to simplify the process of battery maintenance, as well as monitoring the condition of the battery, and could also can extend the battery lifetime. During the test, the tool could work according to the plan as could read the battery voltage, could read the battery temperature, and also could tell when the battery was detected in overheat state, through alarm sound and LED lights, and also tool could decided the charging process at when of the battery in overheat conditions, therefore could be concluded that making this tool can help the battery maintenance. Dalam dunia industri pertambangan, sebuah inovasi sangat di butuhkan untuk membantu pekerjaan manusia, salah satunya untuk memantau kondisi battery , Penulis melihat tidak adanya suatu alat pada unit yang dapat memantau kondisi battery. Oleh karena itu, penulis merancang sebuah tool yang dapat memantau kondisi battery dan penulis ingin mengembangkan suatu tool yang tidak hanya bisa memantau kondisi battery, tetapi juga bisa memberitahukan kondisi battery pada saat overheat kepada operator, serta dapat juga untuk memutuskan proses charging pada saat battery overheat sesuai dari materi yang ada pada data sheet salah satu produk battery.Tool yang di buat menggunakan mikrokontroller Arduino Uno dengan IC ATmega328. Arduino Uno sebagai otak dari tool yang akan mengatur jalannya sistem tool. Hasil yang di peroleh dari pembuatan tool, diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses perawatan battery, serta pemantauan kondisi battery, dan juga dapat memperpanjang lifetime battery tersebut. Selama uji coba tool dapat bekerja sesuai yang di rencanakan seperti dapat membaca tegangan battery, dapat membaca suhu battery, dan juga dapat memberitahukan pada saat battery terdeteksi dalam keadaan overheat, melalui bunyi alaram dan lampu LED, tool juga dapat memutuskan proses charging pada saat battery dalam kondisi overheat, sehingga dapat disimpulkan pembuatan tool ini dapat membantu perawatan battery.
