MODIFIKASI SOCKET FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR PADA ENGINE MODEL SAA12V140E-3 UNIT HD 785-7 DI PT. UNITED TRACTORS SIMS SITE BATU KAJANG KALIMANTAN TIMUR

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Heavy Duty Dumptruck or HD 785-7 is a carrier of soil material, sand and stone from medium to long distances that is driven by a tire (wheel) with mechanical and electrical power driven by diesel engines. HD785-7 uses the SAA12V140E-3 engine with a cumming model, where it uses a common rail with sensor as a fuel pressure detector that is sent to the ECU (Engine Control Unit). Based on data of daily breakdown frequency unit on August to October in PT.United Tractors SIMS site Batu Kajang the highest electrical problem is error03 or E03 Call with CA451 code and CB451 ENG which explain that abnormaly high level common rail pressure sensor. From the error03 investigation results, it found that the socket is not connected properly. This problem can affect the performance of the unit, especially in the fuel system distribution is not perfect in the combustion chamber which resulted in engine loe power. Therefole, it is necessary to perform modified socket fuel pressure common rail on engine model SAA12V140E-3 HD 785-7 which aims to minimize or solve the problem. The way to modify socket fuel pressure common rail on Engine model SAA12V140E-3 HD 785-7 is done by measuring the cable, connecting through the solder process which added the glue iron as the connection so that it is not easy to be realased, the installation of deutsch connector, and mounting on Units. Based on the results of monitoring the field of modifications that have been installed on HD 785-7 unit, it is able to solve the problem. Therefole, can be concluded that the modification which made have been successfully used and developed for the future. Heavy Duty Dumptruck atau HD 785-7 adalah sebuah alat pengangkut material tanah, pasir, dan batu dari jarak sedang hingga jauh yang digerakan oleh roda (tyre) dengan tenaga mekanikal maupun elektrikal yang dimotori mesin diesel. HD785-7 menggunakan engine SAA12V140E-3 dengan model cumming, dimana engine ini menggunakan common rail dengan sensor sebagai pendeteksi tekanan fuel yang dikirimkan ke ECU (Engine Control Unit). Berdasarkan data frekuensi daily breakdown unit bulan agustus hingga oktober di PT.United Tractors SIMS site Batu Kajang permasalahan elektrical yang tertinggi adalah error03 atau E03 Call dengan code CA451 dan CB451 ENG yang menjelaskan bahwa abnormaly high level common rail pressure sensor. Dari hasil penyelidikan error03 tersebut, di temukan bahwa socket tidak terconnect dengan baik. Permasalahan ini dapat berpengaruh pada kinerja unit, terutama pada sistem penyaluran fuel tidak sempurna didalam ruang bakar yang mengakibatkan engine low power. Sehingga perlu melakukan Modifikasi Socket Fuel Pressure Common Rail Pada Engine Model SAA12V140E-3 HD 785-7 yang bertujuan untuk menimalisir atau mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Cara melakukan modifikasi Socket Fuel Pressure Common Rail Pada Engine Model SAA12V140E-3 HD 785-7 dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pengukuran kabel, penyambungan melalui proses soldier yang di tambahkan lem besi sebagai penahan sambungan agar tidak mudah lepas, pemasangan deutsch connector, dan melakukan pemasangan pada unit. Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan dilapangan dari modifikasi yang telah terpasang pada unit HD 785-7 mampu mengatasi permasalahan breakdown unit. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa modifikasi yang dilakukan telah berhasil digunakan dan dikembangkan untuk kedepannya
