ANALISA KERUSAKAN CYLINDER BOOM PADA UNIT KALMAR REACH STACKER DI TERMINAL PETI KEMAS KARIANGAU

ABSTRACT Kalmar Reach Stacker DRF 400-450 is the most flexible container moving equipment operated in small and medium port terminals. This heavy equipment unit is a tool for lifting small and large containers, empty containers, as well as containers containing and trailer goods with a lifting capacity of 40 to 45 tons. The Boom Cylinder is a component of the right and left side of the Kalmar Reach Stacker. This component functions for maximum spreader lifting by utilizing hydraulic oil flow. Boom cylinders will experience a decrease in work if there are problems and damage to their internal parts. During On Job Training (OJT), the author found a problem with the Kalmar Reach Stacker DRF 400-450 unit at PT Kaltim Kariangau Terminal workshop Balikpapan, the author found that there had been damage to the Boom Cylinder on the Kalmar Reach Stacker DRF 400-450 unit. Performance disturbances in the boom cylinder components can be caused by several factors, including contamination that occurs in the boom cylinders, internal and external leaks, and overheating in the boom cylinder components, these factors can reduce labor in the boom cylinder components. Meanwhile, the cause of damage to the boom cylinder in this case was a leak in the left boom cylinder which caused the spreader to become heavy when lifting the container. After the boom cylinder was dismantled, it was found that gram was found in the boom cylinder. And after analyzing the Kalmar Reach Stacker hydraulic system, it was concluded that there was a malfunction in the check valve where the position that was supposed to be open ended up closing and vice versa, so the flow from the input was not maximally released which caused the high pressure hydraulic filter to be sucked in, due to the composition of the high pressure filter hydraulic. there is a wire or iron (FE) because of the high pressure eventually the high pressure filter hydraulic is sucked in which causes grams. Keywords: Reach Stacker, Boom Cylinder, Check Valve, High Pressure Filter Hydraulic ABSTRAK Kalmar Reach Stacker DRF 400-450 adalah peralatan pemindah kontainer yang paling flexible yang dioperasikan pada terminal pelabuhan kecil maupun sedang. Unit alat berat ini merupakan alat mengangkat kontainer kecil-besar, kontainer kosong, maupun kontainer yang berisi dan barang trailer dengan kapasitas angkat sebesar 40 hingga 45 ton. Silinder Boom adalah komponen dari Kalmar Reach Stacker bagian samping kanan dan kiri. Komponen ini berfungsi untuk pengangkatan spreader secara maksimal dengan memanfaatkan aliran oli hidraulik. Silinder boom akan mengalami penurunan kerja jika ada masalah dan kerusakan pada bagian-bagian dalamnya. Selama melaksanakan On Job Training (OJT), penulis menemukan adanya masalah pada unit Kalmar Reach Stacker DRF 400-450 di PT Kaltim Kariangau Terminal workshop Balikpapan, penulis menemukan telah terjadi kerusakan pada Silinder Boom pada unit Kalmar Reach Stacker DRF 400-450. Gangguan kinerja pada komponen silinder boom dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya adalah kontaminasi yang terjadi pada silinder boom, kebocoran bagian dalam dan luar, dan terjadinya terlalu panas di bagian komponen silinder boom, faktor ini dapat mengurangi tenaga kerja dalam komponen silinder boom. Sementara penyebab kerusakan pada silinder boom dalam kasus ini adalah terdapat kebocoran pada silinder boom kiri yang menyebabkan spreader menjadi berat saat pengangkatan kontainer. Setelah silinder boom dibongkar ternyata ditemukan gram pada silinder boom tersebut. Dan setelah dianalisa sistem hidrolik Kalmar Reach Stacker disimpulkan bahwa terjadinya malfungsi pada check valve dimana posisinya yang seharusnya membuka malah menutup begitu juga sebaliknya, jadi flow nya dari input tidak maksimal keluar yang menyebabkan high pressure filter hyraulic menjadi ikut terhisap, karena komposisi high pressure filter hydraulic ada kawat atau besinya (FE) karena tingginya pressure akhirnya high pressure filter hydraulic ikut terhisap yang menyebabkan gram-gram.
