RANCANG BANGUN SPECIAL TOOL REMOVE PISTON ENGINE SAA6D125

Abstrak (Abstracts)

One of the main components of the engine is the cylinder head which functions to withstand combustion pressure. So the pressure at the end of compression determines the final pressure of combustion. at the time of the compression process is avoided as much as possible the occurrence of leaks which will affect the compression pressure. As a result of the operation of the engine that does not meet the standards, the pistons, especially the piston rings, will wear out early. This condition can reduce engine performance and ultimately lead to wastage. In this study, a special tool remove piston engine is made to carry out the process of removing the piston of the SAA6D125 diesel engine without removing the engine, from the unit to replace components on the piston that are damaged and it is hoped that the special tool can work more efficiently and effectively. Because if the process of replacing the piston is carried out without using a special tool specifically to remove the piston, many components must be removed from the engine, including removing the crankshaft and when removing the piston, the engine position must be tilted so that it can push the connecting rod under the engine. This type of research is in the form of making a special design tool for removing piston engine SAA6D 125 which is designed through field research, namely through direct field research which involves collecting primary data or new information and related to real conditions in the field. The purpose of making the tool is that it can be easily used in the process of removing the SAA6D125 diesel engine piston. safety man power time Salah satu komponen utama engine adalah cylinder head berfungsinya untuk menahan tekanan pembakaran. Sehingga tekanan pada akhir kompresi menentukan besarnya tekanan akhir pembakaran. pada saat proses kompresi dihindari semaksimal mungkin terjadinya kebocoran yang akan berpengaruh pada tekanan kompresi. Akibat pengoperasian mesin yang tidak memenuhi standar, maka piston khususnya pada ring piston akan mengalami keausan lebih awal.. kondisi tersebut dapat menurunkan kinerja mesin dan pada akhirnya menyebabkan pemborosan. Pada penelitian ini membuat special tool remove piston engine untuk melakukan proses remove pada piston engine diesel SAA6D125 tanpa melepas engine, dari unit untuk melakukan penggantian komponen pada piston yang mengalami kerusakan dan diharapkan special tool dapat bekerja lebih efisien dan efektif. Karena apabila di lakukan proses penggantian pada piston tanpa menggunakan special tool khusus untuk remove piston maka banyak komponen yang harus di lepas dahilu dari engine tersebut termasuk harus melepas bagian crank shaft dan saat melepas piston posisi mesin harus di miringkan supaya dapat mendorong bagian conecting rod bawah engine.Jenis penelitian ini berupa pembuatan rancang bangun special tool remove piston engine SAA6D 125 yang dirancang melalui field research yaitu melalui penelitian lapangan secara langsung yang melibatkan pengumpulan data primer atau informasi baru dan terkait dengan kondisi nyata yang ada di lapangan. Tujuan dari pembuatan alat adalah dapat dengan mudah digunakan dalam peruses melepas piston engine diesel SAA6D125.Bedasarkan dari hasil pengujian dan analia safety dapat di simpulkan bahwa special tools dapat meminimalisirkan potensi kerusakan sebesar 18,75% dan bawah splesial tools yang di buat tersebut lebih efisien dari waktu safety man power.
