ANALISIS KECELAKAAN KERJA PADA PEKERJAAN PEMOTONGAN PLAT MENGGUNAKAN MESIN GERINDA METODE JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS (JSA) DI PT. BRANTAS ABIPRAYA

The Sepaku Semoi Dam is a development project undertaken by the government in an effort to improve regional facilities. This project is carried out by PT. Brantas Abipraya is a state-owned company engaged in dam construction. In development work, it cannot be separated from the Hazards that will arise in its implementation. Work accidents that often occur are accidents when using a grinding machine. This accident occurred because workers ignored the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). PPE is very important for a company, because the impact of work accidents is not only detrimental to workers, but also the company in terms of cost, time and company quality. This research aims to identify, anticipate, and provide control solutions to the hazards that occur in plate cutting work. The method used in this research is Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach. Data collection is done by interviewing the HSE department. The results showed that at the hazard identification stage there were 16 work accidents. Risk assessment is carried out by determining Consequences (Risk Impact), Exposure (Frequency Level), and Detection (Risk Detection). Proposed control is given for 6 work accidents with the multiplication value of Consequences, Exposure, and Detection. The highest value of the Risk Priority Number (RPN) is found in the hands being electrocuted when turning on the tool (24), the eye exposed to grams (18), the skin/body exposed to grams (18), dust inhalation (16), the workpiece bouncing/ejected (16), and the grinding wheel is cut (12). Recommendations for control using JSA by providing PPE according to standards for each worker. The results of the risk level assessment after the control using the JSA there are significant differences (decreased risk level) between before and after the proposed control. Bendungan Sepaku Semoi adalah proyek pembangunan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam upaya meningkatkan fasilitas daerah. Proyek ini dikerjakan oleh PT. Brantas Abipraya yaitu perusahaan milik negara yang bergerak di bidang konstruksi bendungan. Dalam pekerjaan pembangunan, tidak lepas dari Hazard yang akan timbul dalam pelaksanaanya. Kecelakaan kerja yang sering terjadi ialah kecelakaan saat menggunakan mesin gerinda. Kecelakaan ini terjadi karena pekerja mengabaikan penggunaan Alat Perlindungan Diri (APD). APD sangat penting bagi suatu perusahaan, karena dampak kecelakaan kerja tidak hanya merugikan bagi pekerja, tetapi juga perusahaan baik dari segi biaya, waktu dan mutu perusahaan. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengantisipasi, dan memberikan solusi pengendalian terhadap resiko bahaya yang terjadi pada pekerjaan pemotongan plat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Job Safety Analysis (JSA) dengan pendekatan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara terhadap pihak – pihak HSE. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada tahap identifikasi bahaya terdapat 16 kecelakaan kerja. Penilaian risiko dilakukan dengan menentukan Consequences (Dampak Resiko), Exposure (Tingkat Keseringan), dan Detection (Deteksi Resiko). Usulan pengendalian diberikan untuk 6 kecelakaan kerja dengan nilai perkalian Consequences, Exposure, dan Detection. Nilai tertinggi Risk Priority Number (RPN) terdapat pada tangan tersetrum saat menyalakan alat (24), mata terkena gram (18), kulit/badan terkena gram (18), debu gram terhirup (16), benda kerja melenting/terlontar (16), dan tersayat mata gerinda (12). Rekomendasi pengendalian menggunakan JSA dengan pemberian APD sesuai dengan standar bagi setiap pekerja. Hasil penilaian tingkat risiko setelah pengendalian menggunakan JSA terdapat perbedaaan secara signifikan (penurunan tingkat risiko) antara sebelum dan sesudah diusulkannya pengendalian.
