SPECIAL TOOL MOUNTING VISCOUS CABIN REMOVAL PADA UNIT HD 785-7 DI PT.UNITED TRACTORS, Tbk SITE JEMBAYAN KALIMANTAN TIMUR

The aims of this study are to design, create and use special tools to assist the release process of viscous cabin mounting because in work has some of a fairly large risk of work accident. The method uses in this research is field research. It was conducted while the researcher On Job Training at United Tractors Tbk. Site Jembayan. The researcher identified a high risk of accident occurrence during the work of remove mounting viscous cabin HD 785-7 then the researcher took the initiative to create special tools in order to reduce the risk of work accidents and reduce the time of work there fare the work more efficient and safety. This research explained the process of how to make special tool, special tool work, safety analysis special tool, job time analysis, man power analysis, and calculating the cost of making special tool. This research could design and make special tool remove mounting viscous cabin HD 785-7 successfully which spend the cost Rp. 945.000. By using special tools that have been made could reduce the risk of work accidents such as mounting thrown and exposed surrounding the people, the unit was aparted from the stand and exposed the surrounding people, and sparks of copper coming into the eye due to hitting hammer 5kg to mounting viscous cabin, passed on the time efficiently, it becomes than 420 minutes before using the special tool to 120 minutes by using the special tool, it could save time of 300 minutes when did the job remove mounting viscous cabin and reduced the amount man power from two people to one person during the process release of viscous cabin mounting Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, membuat dan menggunakan special tool untuk membantu proses pelepasan mounting viscous cabin karena dalam pekerjaanya memiliki beberapa resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja yang cukup besar. Metode yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan secara langsung yang di lakukan pada saat On Job Training di United Tractors Tbk. Site Jembayan. Penulis mengidentifikasi adanya resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja yang cukup besar saat melakukan pekerjaan remove mounting viscous cabin HD 785-7. Oleh karena itu penulis berinisiatif untuk membuat special tool untuk mengurangi resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja serta mengurangi waktu pengerjaan sehingga pekerjaan menjadi efisien dan keselamatannya terjamin. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana proses pembuatan special tool, cara kerja special tool, analisa safety special tool, analisa waktu pekerjaan, analisa man power, dan mengitung biaya pembuatan special tool. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang dan membuat special tool remove mounting viscous cabin HD 785-7 dengan biaya Rp. 945.000. Dengan menggunakan special tool yang telah di buat dapat mengurangi resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja seperti mounting terkempal dan mengenai orang di sekitar, unit terlepas dari stand dan mengenai orang di sekitar, dan percikan tembaga yang masuk ke mata akibat memukul palu 5 kg ke mounting viscous cabin. Dari segi waktu pekerjaan menjadi lebih cepat dari 420 menit sebelum menggunakan special tool menjadi 120 menit saat menggunakan special tool jadi menghemat waktu 300 menit saat melakukan pekerjaan remove mounting viscous cabin dan mengurangi jumlah man power dari dua orang menjadi satu orang saat proses pelepasan mounting viscous cabin.Keyword : Special Tool, Mounting Viscous Cabin, Mounting, Safety, HD 785-7
