Abstrak (Abstracts)

Tourism Information System can be used as position information about the location of attractions and tourist information in the city of Aberdeen. The purpose of this research activity provides tourist information to the public regarding the information infrastructure and support facilities of tourist attractions and produced a map of the distribution of the tourist attractions in the city of Aberdeen. In the province of East Kalimantan, especially in the city of Balikpapan has many natural attractions and artificial. But there are still many tourists who do not know the existence of these sights, Tourism Information System was created using Android Studio software with the Java programming language. One of the mobile operating system that can be used is an android. Android can access the Google map service APIs that can be used to indicate the location of a place. Applications are made to provide services such as displaying the names of places are tourist along with the location. The results obtained in this study a coordinate data attractions, Figure sites, information about tourist attractions. Results from this research that the geographical location of attractions in the city of Balikpapan from five sub-district which includes the District of Balikpapan north, District Balikpapan west, District of South Balikpapan, Balikpapan East, and Balikpapan city number of attractions, drawing attractions, facilities and infrastructures as well as the object information travel. Sistem Informasi Pariwisata ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai informasi tentang letak posisi objek wisata dan informasi mengenai wisata di kota Balikpapan. Tujuan dari kegiatan penelitian ini memberikan informasi tempat wisata kepada masyarakat umum mengenai informasi sarana dan prasarana serta fasilitas pendukung tempat wisata dan menghasilkan peta mengenai sebaran tempat wisata di kota Balikpapan. Di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur khususnya di Kota Balikpapan memiliki banyak daya tarik wisata alam maupun buatan. Namun masih banyak wisatawan yang belum mengetahui adanya tempat wisata tersebut, Sistem Informasi Pariwisata ini dibuat menggunakan software Android Studio dengan bahasa pemrograman java . Salah satu sistem operasi mobile yang dapat digunakan adalah android. Android dapat mengakses layanan API Google map yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjukkan lokasi suatu tempat. Aplikasi yang dibuat dapat memberikan layanan berupa menampilkan nama-nama wisata beserta lokasi tempat berada. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini berupa data koordinat objek wisata, Gambar tempat wisata, Informasi mengenai objek wisata. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu letak geografis objek wisata di Kota Balikpapan dari lima Kecamatan yang meliputi Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, Kecamatan Balikpapan Barat, Kecamatan Balikpapan Selatan, Balikpapan Timur, dan Balikpapan Tengah jumlah objek wisata, gambar objek wisata, fasilitas sarana dan prasarana serta informasi objek wisata.
