ALAT PENDETEKSI JARAK PANDANG SAAT MENGGUNAKAN SMARTPHONE DENGAN PERBANDINGAN JARAK PANDANG BERBASIS ARDUINO UNO R3

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Nowadays many people ignore the importancy of eye health, because the sophistication of the smartphone makes people forget and ignore the dangers or the negative impact of the frequency use of smartphones and “the distance detection devices when using smartphones with long distance comparisons based on Arduino “is the solution to reduce negligence the user of smartphones. Arduino that had a functions as a microcontroller, ultrasonic sensor that acts as a counter visibility from the smartphone to the head of user, bluetooth module as a pairing device that provides the visibility settings as an input from the inventor application of the smartphone and buzzer used as a warning sign that notifies the user. In smartphone applications only need to press the input button size of the smartphone. The results obtained from the device testing show that the safe distance for smartphone use for children is 30 cm – 40 cm. Pada jaman sekarang banyak orang tidak menghiraukan betapa pentingnya kesehatan mata, karena kencanggihan dari pada smartphone yang sekarang ini banyak membuat orang lupa hingga tidak memperhatikan bahaya atau dampak negatif dari seringnya menggunakan smartphone dan “alat pendeteksi jarak pandang saat menggunakan smartphone dengan perbandingan jarak panjang berbasis Arduino” menjadi solusi untuk mengurangi kelalaian akan penggunaan smartphone. Arduino yang berfungsi sebagai mikrokontroler, sensor ultrasonik yang berfungsi sebagai penghitung jarak pandang dari smartphone ke kepala, module bluetooth sebagai penghubung yang memberikan pengaturan jarak pandang yang di inputkan dari aplikasi inventor dari smartphone dan buzzer yang digunakan sebagai tanda peringatan yang memberitahu pengguna. Pada aplikasi smartphone hanya perlu menekan tombol inputan ukuran dari smartphone. Hasil yang di dapat dari pengujian alat menunjukkan bahwa jarak aman untuk penggunaan smartphone bagi anak-anak adalah 30 cm – 40 cm.
