PERBANDINGAN AREA AVAILABILTY OPERATOR X DAN Y UNTUK LAYANAN 3G DI KECAMATAN SAMBOJA

Telecommunications technology is increasingly growing, this is evidenced by the presence of new technologies that have the quality of telecommunications networks, especially in terms of data speed. The technology of mobile communication system is increasingly growing from first generation to next generation, that is 3G technology. This study analyzes the comparison of service quality of a 3G network on operator x and operator y especially in samboja district. The study was conducted by the drive test method. Parameters analyzed are voice parameters including Ec / Io, RSCP, Rx-Power, Tx-Power. From the results of this study showed that the quality of operator network x for RSCP is very good, Ec / Io is very good, Tx Power is good, Rx power is very good, network operator quality y for RSCP is very good, Ec / Io less good, Tx Power is good , Rx power is very good, on parameters Ec / Io, RSCP, Rx-Power, and Tx Power operator x is superior to operator y for all parameters. Teknologi telekomunikasi semakin lama semakin berkembang, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hadirnya teknologi baru yang mempunyai kualitas jaringan telekomunikasi khususnya dalam hal kecepatan data. Teknologi sistem komunikasi bergerak semakin hari semakin berkembang dari generasi pertama ke generasi berikutnya, yakni teknologi 3G. Penelitian ini menganalisa tentang perbandingan kualitas layanan suatu jaringan 3G pada operator x dan operator y khususnya dikecamatan samboja. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode drive test. Parameter yang dianalisa yaitu parameter voice yang meliputi Ec/Io, RSCP, Rx-Power, Tx-Power. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa, Kualitas jaringan operator x untuk RSCP sangat baik, Ec/Io sangat baik, Tx Power baik, Rx power sangat baik, Kualitas jaringan operator y untuk RSCP sangat Baik, Ec/Io kurang baik, Tx Power baik, Rx power sangat baik, pada parameter Ec/Io, RSCP, Rx-Power, dan Tx Power operator x lebih unggul dibandingkan operator y untuk semua parameter.
