ANALISA SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT DI PT. UNITED TRACTORS TBK. CABANG BALIKPAPAN

In the globalization era, a supplier of heavy equipment spare parts delivery services is required to be able to keep abreast of the times. Therefore it can increase the speed and accuracy in delivering goods as supporting the fulfillment of material requests from customers. Supply chain management, that is, a series of processes for distributing spare parts from the branch itself to customers or other branches. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of supply chain management and find improvements that can be made to overcome the problems in supply chain management at PT United Tractors Tbk Balikpapan Branch. This research uses field observation method, and the result of study was the supply chain implementation is less than optimal for cutomers, because there were still problems in the incoming process warehouse area which includes receiving, good receiving and quality inspection then in the out going process which includes picking and quality control. Di era globalisasi ini sebuah perusahaan penyalur jasa pengiriman spare parts alat berat di tuntut untuk dapat terus mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan kecepatan dan ketepatan dalam melakukan pengiriman barang sebagai pendukung pemenuhan kebutuhan material requests dari customer. Supply chain management yaitu, serangkaian proses penyaluran spare parts dari cabang sendiri kepada customer atau cabang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pelaksanaan supply chain management dan menemukan upaya perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada supply chain management di PT United Tractors Tbk Cabang Balikpapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi lapangan, dan penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa kurang optimalnya pelaksanaan supply chain kepada cutomer, dikarenakan masih adanya permasalahan di area warehouse pada proses incoming yang meliputi receiving, good receiving dan quality inspection kemudian pada proses out going yang meliputi picking dan quality control.
