RANCANG BANGUN MEKANISME PENGADUK BAHAN BAKAR CAIR MENGGUNAKAN ROTATING BLADE

Solar is one type of fuel which is produced from the process of petroleum processing, basically the fractions are separated by the fractions in the distillation process so that resulted solar fraction with boiling points of 250 ° C to 300 ° C. the quality of the solar quality is stated with cetane number (in gasoline is called octane), which is a number that shows the ability of diesel fuel to burn inside the engine and the ability to control the number of knocking, the higher the cetane number sothatvthe quality of the solar is better, the fuel is colored is yellow brown, while Ethanol is a kind of volatile, flammable, colorless liquid, and the alcohol ismost frequently used in daily activity. Ethanol is an important solvent as well as bait stock for the synthesis of other chemical compounds. In its history ethanol has long been used as fuel. Design of a mixed stirrer for diesel fuel and etano, which was used to mix diesel fuel and ethanol using a complainant. By using 1100 rpm solar speed and ethanol mixed using a stirrer placed in a stirring container which was then rotated using a DC motor engine. The resulting round of the stirrer produced a suspension that breaks down particles between diesel and ethanol. The rotating time was needed to produce a mixture of diesel and ethanol also corresponds to the respective proportions of the composition of diesel and ethanol. The more ethanol presentations therefole longer the stirring time would be, this was because the mass between diesel and ethanol was slightly fused and combustion would easily occur. Homogeneous mixture is a mixture of two or more substances whose particles cannot be distinguished again and the homogeneous mixture is the same mixture, the components cannot be distinguished by naked eye. Keyword : Solar, Ethanol, Methanol Turn and Play time Solar adalah salah satu jenis bahan bakar yang dihasilkan dari proses pengolahan minyak bumi, pada dasarnya minyak mentah dipisahkan fraksi-fraksinya pada proses destilasi sehingga dihasilkan fraksi solar dengan titik didih 250°C sampai 300°C. Kualitas solar dinyatakan dengan bilangan cetane (pada bensin disebut oktan), yaitu bilangan yang menunjukkan kemampuan solar mengalami pembakaran di dalam mesin serta kemampuan mengontrol jumlah ketukan (knocking), semakin tinggi bilangan cetane ada solar maka kualitas solar akan semakin bagus, bahan bakar ini berwarna kuning kecoklatan yang jernih, sedangkan Etanol sejenis cairan yang mudah menguap, mudah terbakar, tak berwarna, dan merupakan alkohol yang paling sering digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Etanol adalah pelarut yang penting sekaligus sebagai stok umpan untuk sintesis senyawa kimia lainnya. Dalam sejarahnya etanol telah lama digunakan sebagai bahan bakar. Rancang bangun Alat Pengaduk campuran untuk bahan bakar baku solar dan etanol, ini berfungsi untuk mencampurkan solar dan etanol menggunakan alat pengadu. Dengan kecepatan 1100 rpm solar dan etanol dicampurkan menggunakan pengaduk yang ditempatkan pada wadah pengaduk yang kemudian diputar menggunakan mesin motor DC. Putaran yang dihasilkan alat pengaduk menghasilkan suspensi yang memecah partikel antara solar dan etanol. Waktu putar yang dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan campuran solar dan etanol pun sesuai dengan proporsi masing-masing komposisi solar dan etanol. Semakin banyak presentasi etanol maka waktu pengadukan akan lebih lama, hal tersebut terjadi karena massa antara solar dan etanol sedikit menyatu dan pembakaran akan mudah terjadi. Campuran homogen yaitu campuran dua zat atau lebih yang partikel-partikel penyusunya tidak dapat di bedakan lagi dan campuran homogeny merupakan campuran serba sama, komponen-komponenya tidak dapat dibedakan secara kasat mata.
