Kajian Metode Perawatan Sistem Suspensi Unit Scania P 380 CB EHZ di PT. Borneo Alam Semesta Site Melak

Based on historical damage to the trucks’s units of Scania P 380 CB EHZ at PT. Borneo Alam Semesta (BAS) Melak’s site, the suspension system is the most severely damaged component. The most components often damage in the suspension system occur in leaf spring components, damage that occurs due to installation errors. Based on this, a study of the suspension system maintenance method at units of ScaniaP 380 CB EHZ was finally carried out. The aims of this study is to find out how the suspension system maintenance is carried out at the research location, then provide recommendations on the results of the study. This research was carried out by field s research and literature study by reviewing Scania P 380 CB EHZ service sheet units, Historical Component Units of Scania P 380 CB EHZ units, Technical Service Reports (TSR) repairing leaf spring and Trainer Outdoor Service Reports compared to the shop manual. The results of this study were it was found that the method of maintenance of the suspension system in the units of Scania P 380 CB EHZ was still not correct and there were some errors. By using the fish bone method, there were 3 main causes that cause the treatment method and the suspension system was not right, it was the machine, man, and method. Therefore to avoid mistakes in the future, recommendations for actions which are neede to be taken, including adding items to the service sheet and doing work in accordance with the shop manual. Berdasarkan historical kerusakan unit truck Scania P 380 CB EHZ di PT. Borneo Alam Semesta (BAS) site Melak, sistem suspensi menjadi komponen yang paling banyak mengalami kerusakan. Adapun komponen yang paling sering mengalami kerusakan pada sistem suspensi terjadi pada komponen leaf spring, kerusakan yang terjadi karena kesalahan pemasangan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, akhirnya dilakukan kajian metode perawatan sistem suspensi pada unit Scania P 380 CB EHZ. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perawatan sistem suspensi yang dilakukan di lokasi penelitian, setelah itu dilakukan kajian terhadap perawatan ada pada lokasi penelitian, lalu memberikan rekomendasi terhadap hasil kajian. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode studi lapangan dan studi literatur dengan meninjau service sheet unit Scania P 380 CB EHZ, Historical Component Unit pada unit Scania P 380 CB EHZ, Technical Service Report (TSR) perbaikan leaf spring dan Laporan Dinas Luar Trainer yang dibandingkan dengan shop manual. Dari hasil penelitian ini ternyata ditemukan bahwa metode perawatan sistem suspensi pada unit Scania P 380 CB EHZ masih belum tepat dan terdapat beberapa kesalahan. Dengan menggunakan metode fish bone terdapat 3 penyebab utama yang menyebabkan terjadinya metode perawatan dan pada sistem suspensi yang kurang tepat, hal tersebut ialah machine, man, dan method. Sehingga kedepannya untuk menghindari kesalahan yang ada, dilakukan rekomendasi tindakan yang perlu dilakukan, antara lain ialah menambahkan beberapa item pada service sheet dan melakukan pekerjaan sesuai dengan shop manual.
