ANALISA PENYEBAB KERUSAKAN STEERING BRAKE PADA UNIT BULLDOZER D375A-6R DI PT. UNITED TRACTORS SITE MELAK

Abstrak (Abstracts)

The author interested to conduct research and analyze the steering lever malfunction if it moved to the left that occurred in the unit Bulldozer D375A-6R. The study aims to know how the steps to overcome the trouble and when trouble occurs, it does not take a long time to overcome them. The malfunction of Steering Brake was due to damage to the Steering component that resulted Steering kept working when engine was still running, at the time of checking the pressure that there was a failure of the system, the damage to the steering due to several things, it can be concluded that there was one damage that made the abnormal steering the main cause of abnormal steering was the bolt that connected between the cover plate and disc steering the broken or the occurrence of fracture on the bolt. From the cause of the fracture caused by the bolt, some of the steering components are broken, among others, a scratch steering surface or a rough scratch that causes the steering surface to be damaged and also the housing or housing for the worn-out steering vents as they rub against the steering, vibration from the rupture bolt. Penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dan melakukan analisa terhadap tidak berfungsinya Steering lever jika di gerakkan kearah kiri yang terjadi pada unit Bulldozer D375A-6R. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana langkah cara mengatasi trouble dan ketika terjadi trouble tidak membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk mengatasinya. Tidak berfungsinya Steering Brake di karenakan terjadinya kerusakan pada komponen Steering yang mengakibatkan Steering tetap beroperasi pada saat engine masih running, pada saat melakukan pengecekan pressure bahwa ada terjadinya kegagalan pada sistem, kerusakan steering dikarenakan beberapa hal, dalam hal ini dapat disimpulkan terdapat lebih dari satu kerusakan yang terjadi yang membuat abnormal nya steering penyebab utama dari abnormalnya steering ialah adanya bolt yang menghubungkan antara cover plate dan disc steering yang broken atau terjadinya fracture pada bolt tersebut. Dari penyebab fracture yang disebabkan oleh bolt mengakibabtkan beberapa dari komponen steering tersebut yang broken antara lain permukaan steering yang scratch atau ada goresan kasar yang membuat permukaan steering rusak dan juga housing atau rumah untuk tempat steering yang aus akibat bergesekan dengan steering, serta shaft yang coak akibat getaran dari bolt yang rupture.
