MEMBANGUN WEBSITE JURUSAN TEKNIK ELEKTRO POLTEKBA MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK PHP LARAVEL DAN MYSQL

The development of information technology at this time has experienced quite rapid progress. Many educational institutions, especially universities, use the internet as a medium to publish information about campus activities and departments that use websites. This website is not only a provider of static information, but can also provide information that changes dynamically by connecting using a database. Services in disseminating information in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Balikpapan State Polytechnic (POLTEKBA) are very important needs, because they have an impact on the satisfaction of students and the outside community. So, it is necessary to improve the quality of service which is an indicator of the success of the POLTEKBA Department of Electrical Engineering in improving its image in the internet world and to become a medium for the publication of the Department of Electrical Engineering POLTEKBA. The Department of Electrical Engineering POLTEKBA does not have a website to disseminate information about the department. Therefore, the authors make the website of the Department of Electrical Engineering POLTEKBA to facilitate the giving or receiving of information. This website uses the PHP Laravel and MySQL framework. And using the VS Code software as a text editor. The results are interactive and easily accessible on the website for the Department of Electrical Engineering, Balikpapan State Polytechnic. Perkembangan teknologi informasi pada saat ini sudah mengalami kemajuan yang cukup pesat. Banyak sekali institusi pendidikan khususnya perguruan tinggi yang menggunakan internet sebagai media mempublikasikan informasi mengenai kegiatan kampus maupun jurusan dengan menggunakan website. Website tidak hanya sebagai pemberi informasi yang statis, melainkan juga mampu memberikan informasi yang berubah secara dinamis dengan cara melakukan koneksi menggunakan basisdata. Pelayanan dalam penyebaran informasi yang ada di Jurusan Teknik Elektro Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan (POLTEKBA) menjadi kebutuhan yang sangat penting, karena hal tersebut berdampak terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa dan masyarakat luar. Maka, perlu adanya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan yang menjadi indikator keberhasilan Jurusan Teknik Elektro POLTEKBA dalam meningkatkan citra di dunia internet dan menjadi media publikasi adanya Jurusan Teknik Elektro POLTEKBA. Jurusan Teknik Elektro POLTEKBA belum mempunyai website untuk penyebaran informasi seputar jurusan. Maka dari itu penulis membuat website Jurusan Teknik Elektro POLTEKBA untuk memudahkan dalam memberi atau menerima informasi. Website ini menggunakan framework PHP Laravel dan MySQL. Dan menggunakan software VS Code Sebagai text editor-nya. Hasil berupa Website Jurusan Teknik Elektro Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan yang interaktif dan mudah untuk di akses.
