RANCANG BANGUN ANTENA MIKROSTRIP MIMO 2×2 DAN 4×4 CIRCULAR PATCH PADA FREKUENSI 2300-2400 MHz UNTUK TEKNOLOGI 4G LTE (LONG TERM EVOLUTION)

LTE is a new standard for increasing network capacity and speed at this time. There are many techniques that can improve the quality of LTE performance, one of which is the MIMO antenna technique. This final project discusses the design of 2×2 MIMO microstrip antennas and 4×4 circular patches with a frequency of 2.3 – 2.4 GHz. C ircular antenna is one type of microstrip antenna. The design results obtained a gain of 5,665 dB for 2×2 and 5.682 dB antennas for 4×4 antennas, return loss was obtained at -11 and -28, VSWR of 1.7459 and 1.7419, with unidirectional radiation patterns and bandwidth of 100 MHz. Speed test results for 2×2 antennas in indoor conditions obtained ping time 146.36 ms download 11.30 Mbps and upload 2.08 Mbps. Outdoor conditions obtained when ping 90.05 ms download 14.90 Mbps and upload 6.88 Mbps. moving conditions obtained ping time 82.21 ms download 5.68 Mbps and upload 0.73 Mbps. Whereas for 4×4 antennas in indoor conditions, ping time is 87.63 ms, download is 15.19 Mbps and uploads is 3.22 Mbps. outdoor conditions obtained by ping time of 91.34 ms, download 15.42 Mbps, and upload 8.36 Mbps. Moving conditions are obtained when a ping is 73.70 ms, downloads 5.72 Mbps and uploads 1.26 Mbps LTE merupakan standar baru untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kecepatan jaringan saat ini. Banyak teknik yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas performansi LTE. Salah satunya adalah teknik antena MIMO. Proyek akhir ini membahas perncangan antena mikrostrip MIMO 2×2 dan 4×4 cirular patch dengan frekuensi 2,3 GHz – 2,4 GHz. Antena circular merupakan salah satu jenis antena mikrostrip. Hasil perancangan didapatkan gain sebesar 5,665 dB untuk antena 2×2 dan gain 5,682 dB untuk antena 4×4, return loss -11 dB dan -28 dB, VSWR sebesar 1,749 dan 1,7419, dengan polaradiasi unidireksional dan bandwidth sebesar100 MHz. Hasil pengujian speed test untuk antena 2×2 dalam kondisi indoor didapatkan waktu ping 146,36 ms download 11,30 Mbps dan upload 2,08 Mbps. Kondisi outdoor didapatkan waktu ping 90,05 ms download 14,90 Mbps dan upload 6,88 Mbps. Kondisi bergerak didapatkan waktu ping 82,21 ms download 5,68 Mbps dan upload 0,73 Mbps. Sedangkan untuk antena 4×4 dalam kondisi indoor didapatkan waktu ping 87,63 ms, download 15,19 Mbps dan upload 3,22 Mbps. Kondisi outdoor diperoleh waktu ping sebesar 91,34 ms, download 15,42 Mbps, dan upload 8,36 Mbps. Kondisi bergerak diperoleh waktu ping 73,70 ms download 5,72 Mbps dan upload 1,26 Mbps.
