PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI INVENTARIS ALAT DAN BAHAN PADA JURUSAN TEKNIK ELEKTRONIKA POLITEKNIK NEGERI BALIKPAPAN

Abstrak (Abstracts)

In the current era of globalization, Information technology is growing very rapidly. Humans need fast and actual information both for individuals and institutions. Currently, both government and private agencies, in their activities were already using computers. With the computer, the information can be presented quickly, actual, and accurate, and can be used by certain participants or by the corporate leaders in order to make decisions. The system to be created was a web-based information system related to inventory activities such as tools or equipment goods that have details that contain the code, type of goods, quantity, condition, and status of the tool / goods. In addition, this information system also has a form of mutation formation associated with borrowing and return of goods or equipment goods. This system has facilities to print data, such as reports on goods and lending data and return of equipment / goods. Using some of the software used to develop this application, such as Notepad ++ as a web page editor, Xampp as an online server, and Mysql as the database. Pada era globalisasi sekarang ini, Teknologi informasi berkembang begitu pesat. Manusia memerlukan informasi yang begitu cepat dan aktual baik bagi suatu instansi maupun per-individu. Saat ini baik instansi pemerintahan maupun swasta, dalam menjalankan kegiatannya sudah menggunakan komputer. Dengan adanya Komputer, maka informasi dapat disajikan secara cepat, aktual, dan akurat sehingga dapat digunakan oleh sebagian pihak tertentu ataupun oleh para pemimpin perusahaan dalam membuat keputusan. Sistem yang akan dibuat berupa sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan inventarisasi seperti halnya alat-alat atau barang barang yang mempunyai info detail yang berisi kode, type barang , jumlah, kondisi, dan juga status dari alat/barang tersebut. Selain itu sistem informasi ini juga mempunyai form-form yang berkaitan dengan peminjaman dan pengembalian alat atau barang. Sistem ini memiliki fasilitas untuk mencetak data-data, seperti laporan tentang data barang dan peminjaman–pengembalian alat/barang. Sistem informasi ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan beberapa software yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi ini, seperti Notepad++ sebagai penyunting halaman web, Xampp sebagai server online, dan Mysql sebagai database nya.
