The type of this research is observation in the field of design and manufacture of a tool to remove cover dammper.A result in gain from the schematics remove cover the damper was to make man power that work can feel safe while doing the release of the damper, cover man power all the required fewer and the time the release of faster than ever with the style. Alat Berat atau Heavy Equipment, adalah alat bantu yang di gunakan oleh manusia untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan berat atau susah untuk di kerjakan dengan tenaga manusia atau membantu manusia mengerjakan pekerjaan yang berat. misal untuk membuat sebuah danau, manusia menggunakan alat berat untuk mengerjakannya. Dump truck adalah sebuah alat pengangkut material dari jarak sedang hingga jauh, dimana salah satu nya bertype HD 465 – 7R. Permasalahan yang di hadapi saat melakukan overhaule damper mendapati masalah ketika melakukan pelepasan cover damper dimana terjadi nya jamed pada cover damper sebanyak dua kali, salah nya pemasangan saat melakukan pemasangan sebanyak dua kali, saat melakukan pelepasan cover damper yang tidak aman, saat melepas cover damper yang cukup lama dan juga membutuhkan man power dua orang atau lebih untuk melakukan pelepasan cover damper. Jenis penilitian yang saya pakai dengan cara observasi di lapangan perancangan dan pembuatan alat untuk remove cover dammper. Hasil yang di peroleh dari rancang bangun remove cover damper adalah membuat man power yang bekerja dapat merasa aman saat melakukan pelepasan cover damper, man power yang di butuhkan lebih sedikit dan waktu pelepasan lebih cepat dari sebelumnya
