DESKRIPSI TUGAS AKHIR :
RANCANG BANGUN SYSTEM MONITORING TEMPERATURE CYLINDER HYDRAULIC DENGAN BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS
Abstrak (Abstracts)
This research describes the design and development of a remote hydraulic cylinder temperature monitoring system based on Short Massage Service and also the Internet of Things (IoT). Difficulty in data collection is a major problem because the measurement conditions are not in real time operating temperature (cylinder temperature has cooled when measured because there is a pause when the shutdown and mechanical units come), and also the measurement distance is too far when the attachment position is not lowered. This system is designed to facilitate mechanical crew in taking more real temperature data without having to go to the unit. Moreover, the monitoring system was expected to prevent overheating and unschadule breakdown which can increase maintenance costs for the unit. The system consists of several components, namely Arduino as a microcontroller, SIM800L for sending SMS and also ESP8266 which sends temperature reading data to the internet using the thingspeak application. Data on thingspeak servers can be viewed using the website. The results showed that the system has a pretty good prospect where the percentage of errors obtained from the DS18B20 sensor and IoT on the cylinder bucket against the thermogun are 0.006% And 0.029%. Dalam penelitian ini dijelaskan tentang desain dan pengembangan system monitoring temperature cylinder hydraulic jarak jauh dengan berbasis Short Massage Service dan juga Internet of Things(IoT). Kesulitan dalam pengambilan data merupakan masalah utama dikarenakan Kondisi pengukuran tidak dalam real time operation temperature (suhu cylinder sudah dingin saat diukur karena ada jeda saat unit shutdown dan mekanik datang), dan juga Jarak pengukuran terlalu jauh saat posisi attachement tidak diturunkan. Sistem ini di desain untuk memudahkan crew mekanik dalam pengambilan data temperature yang lebih real tanpa harus ke unit Selain itu pada system monitoring ini diharapkan dapat mencegah terjadinya overheat dan juga breakdown unschadule yang dapat meningkatkan cost biaya perawatan pada unit tersebut. Sistem terdiri dari beberapa komponen, yaitu Arduino sebagai Mikrocontroller, SIM800L untuk mengirimkan SMS dan juga ESP8266 yang mengrimkan data pembacaan temperature ke internet menggunakan aplikasi thingspeak. Data di server thingspeak dapat dilihat menggunakan website. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem memiliki prospek yang cukup baik dimana Persentase error yang didapat dari sensor DS18B20 dan IoT pada cylinder bucket terhadap thermogun yaitu 0.006% sampai dengan 0.029%.
