ANALISA KERUSAKAN ABNORMALITY BRAKE PADA UNIT HD 785 – 7 DI PT. UNITED TRACTORS SITE JEMBAYAN TENGGARONG.

Abstrak (Abstracts)

Heavy duty dump truck is a vehicle that has functions as a conveyance of mining materials such as coal, soil, and rocks, one of which is HD 785 – 7. Abnormality brake is a condition experienced by the brake system when it works does not match the function from the brake system. From this damage can lead to very dangerous accidents such as crashing into other units, crashing into objects that are in the workshop and can even hit other people around. The purpose of this research is to find out the causes of damage and how to prevent it. From the results of research on this brake abnormality, it can be concluded that. First, the brake pump had an internal leak caused by gram-gram debris in the brake system which maked the brake systems performance less than optimal. And this damage to the brake abnormality can cause disruption of the productivity of the unit, because the operator will feel very insecure when using a unit that was experiencing an abnormality brake. Damage Abnormality brake can also cause accidents that were very fatal for the operator, people around and also the unit. To prevent the same damage again, when doing service must be very attentive when filling the oil that was in the unit so that there was no contamination of dirt – dirt from the outside that can damage the components in the system in which oil flows. Heavy duty dump truck adalah suatu kendaraan yang berfungsi sebagai alat angkut material – material tambang seperti batu bara, tanah, dan bebatuan yang salah satu jenisnya adalah HD 785 – 7. Abnormality brake adalah kerusakan suatu kondisi yang dialami oleh sistem brake saat kerjanya tidak sesuai dengan fungsi dari sistem brake tersebut. Dari kerusakan tersebut dapat mengakibatkan kecelakaan yang sangat berbahaya seperti menabrak unit lain, menabrak benda benda yang ada di workshop dan bahkan bisa menabrak orang lain yang ada disekitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa penyebab dari kerusakan tersebut dan cara mencegahnya. Dari hasil penelitian tentang abnormality brake ini, dapat ditarik kesimpulan. Pertama, brake pump mengalami internal leak yang disebabkan oleh serpihan gram – gram yang berada di dalam system brake tersebut yang membuat performa dari system brake menjadi kurang maksimal. Dan Kerusakan abnormality brake ini dapat menyebabkan terganggunya produktifitas dari unit tersebut, karena operator akan sangat merasa tidak aman saat menggunakan unit yang sedang mengalami abnormaity brake. Kerusakan Abnormality brake juga dapat menyebabkan kecelakan yang sangat fatal bagi operator, orang disekitar dan juga unit tersebut. Untuk mencegah kerusakan yang sama lagi, saat melakukan service harus sangat memperhatikan saat mengisi oli – oli yang ada di unit agar tidak terjadi kontaminasi kotoran – kotoran dari luar yang dapat merusak komponen yang ada pada system yang didalamnya mengalir oli.
