The excavators is one of heavy equipment that has a series of arms to perform a function. Dredging The excavators used commonly to dredge up the land surface efficiently, uses the excavators not limited to just. Dredging Some function excavators among others; digging earth, loading the material in the truck, lifting, material scrape the cliff, leveling the surface soil, destruction of property. Need lubrication in the area lubrikasi grease. The researcher interested in doing research and undertake analysis on the occurrence of jammed on area lubrication grease arm cylinder on the unit excavators PC 2000-8 might know the cause of the malfunction. Leading causes of damage lubrication grease arm cylinder. Because injector autolube had abnormal in form of the impasse caused by contamination from the dust and dirt that goes into component autolube, injector impact of inflicted damage component like Pin, with a bushing spericle, and hole arm rod cylinder. it should be do some effort the operator prosedur maintenance or procedure in accordance standart care that is company, to the daily treatment programs P2H, that maintain cleanliness units and components injector autolube system and always check in connection grease autolube system. Excavator adalah salah satu alat berat yang memiliki serangkaian lengan untuk melakukan fungsi pengerukan. excavator biasa digunakan untuk mengeruk permukaan tanah secara efisien, kegunaan excavator tidak terbatas pada pengerukan saja. Beberapa fungsi excavator antara lain: Menggali tanah, Memuat material ke truk, Mengangkat material, Mengikis tebing, Meratakan permukaan tanah, Menghancurkan bangunan. Tentu saja membutuhkan pelumasan di daerah lubrikasi grease. Penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dan melakukan analisa terhadap terjadinya jammed pada area lubrikasi grease arm cylinder pada unit excavator PC 2000-8 agar mengetahui penyebab terjadinya kerusakan tersebut. Penyebab utama dari kerusakan diarea lubrikasi grease arm cylinder karena injector autolube mengalami abnormal berupa kebuntuan yang diakibatkan oleh kontaminasi dari debu dan tanah yang masuk ke dalam komponen injector autolube, akibat dampak yang ditimbulkan merusak komponen-komponen seperti pin, bushing spericle, dan hole rod arm cylinder. Maka perlu melakukan beberapa upaya agar permasalahan tersebut tidak terulang kembali yaitu operator melakukan procedure maintenance atau prosedur perawatan sesuai standard yang ada diperusahaan, selalu melakukan program perawatan dan pemeriksaan harian P2H, serta selalu menjaga kebersihan unit dan komponen injector autolube system dan selalu melakukan pengecekan koneksi grease di autolube system.
