PENERAPAN DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN (JOB DESCRIPTION) TELEPON OPERATOR DI HOTEL NOVOTEL BALIKPAPAN

Abstrak (Abstracts)

The Front Office Department in ordering a job in the Telephone Operator section must require a Job Description Telephone Operator. As well as the Front Office Department is very important in the hotel industry, because the Front Office Department directly deals with customers directly. In this study, the aim of this research is to find out the Job Description of Telephone Operators at Hotel Novotel Balikpapan and to know the application of job descriptions of Telephone Operators at Hotel Novotel Balikpapan. The type of research used today is qualitative descriptive data. The data collection technique was carried out using the observation method, the interview method, and the documentation method. From the research results indicate that the Job Description Telephone Operator has been implemented by Telephone Operators at Hotel Novotel Balikpapan, but in the process the Telephone Operators have faced obstacles such as, in the telephone operator job is not in accordance with the Job Description Telephone Operator and the lack of telephone operator employees. Front Office Departement dalam memerintahkan pekerjaan di bagian Telepon Operator harus memerlukan Job Description Telepon Operator. Serta Front Office Departement sangat penting dalam industri perhotelan, dikarenakan Front Office Departement langsung berhadapan dengan customer langsung. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengtahui Job Description Telepon Operator di Hotel Novotel Balikpapan dan Mengetahui penerapan deskripsi pekerjaan Telepon Operator di Hotel Novotel Balikpapan. Dalam Jenis penelitian yang dipakai saat ini adalah kualitatif dengan data deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, metode wawancara, dan metode dokumenntasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Job Description Telepon Operator telah diterapkan oleh Telepon Operator di Hotel Novotel Balikpapan, namun dalam pengerjaannya Telepon Operator memiliki kendala yang dihadapi seperti, dalam pekerjaan Telepon Operator tidak sesuai dengan Job Description Telepon Operator dan kurangnya pegawai Telepon Operator.
